The food and service were subpar. I don’t really know how you can mess up mac and cheese…. It was a greenish yellow hue. My toddlers didn’t eat it… and they absolutely, indiscriminately LOVE Mac and cheese. The best part of the meal was the broccoli and it was just simply steamed. The nachos were ok… but the ribs were a ‘no’ for me.All of this would have been fine except the service was awful. We were brought our food but we’re only given 2 sets of silverware. So we just stared at hot food, unable to eat it. Finally I had to get up to find a few more sets myself since we were a party of 5 and our server was nowhere in sight. Later, when I asked her for spoons for dessert, I was provided two plastic spoons… again we were a party of 5. I finally had to ask another server for 5 spoons for the 5 people in my party. My table was NOT bussed in between courses so the plates just piled up at the end of the table. In the end, as if this wasn’t enough, I waited 15 min to have my card run. It was all just such an unpleasant experience. So sad because the backdrop of the beautiful course is so nice otherwise.

This restaurant is part if the Arthur Hills golf course in Palmetto Dunes. Quaint after golf spot with plenty of TVs and a monitor that overlooks and broadcasts the 18th hole. We had a blue cheese burger and Memphis chicken sandwich. Both came with fries and were tasty. Servers was friendly and food came fast.

The ribs here are frozen and heated up and are terrible you can try and chew the meat off the bone.. it was the worst and took forever to get service.

Ordered the regular cheeseburger well done. It came out rare, cheese not even melted, cold bun and no onions. Service was non existent. Won’t be back.

Best service I’ve ever had. If you’re lucky enough to have Rachel as your server, it will be worth every penny.

My pretzel bites were fantastic, as was the service. Madelin was great, she was fast and very friendly. Amazing other staff including Mila and Wendy. Wendy’s cherry Coke was excellent.

Called in order for take out, food was OK (ribs ordered were reheated from frozen and food was luke warm). Prices were standard for resort town. However, restaurant charged 20% service fee for TAKE OUT TWICE and had the audacity to present a bill with a line item for tip. Today was moving day into my vacation home, I was too exhausted to fight the PREDATORY fees. This was my first and last experience ordering at this restaurant pick up and dine in.Bill is attached.LETS SEE IF THEY MAKE THIS RIGHT!!!

The BEST sweet potato fries I have ever had, and I love sweet potato fries. The rest of the crew liked the spicy mustard dipping sauce as well. My burger was ginormous, and delicious. We sat on the deck on an absolutely gorgeous February afternoon. Our waitress was so sweet too.

I have been to Big Jims many times for a variety of reasons. This visit was with out of town family. After playing 18 holes on the RTJ course, our foursome came up to Big Jims for a late post round lunch. I did not want to pack in a ton of food since we had dinner plans, so just ordered an App - the Sweet Chili Crispy Shrimp. The others in my foursome ordered Chicken Tenders w Fries, Shrimp Po Boy w Fries, and the Smoked Chicken Sandwich with Potato Salad. I did not take photos of the food this time, but each plate came out nicely presented and the food all looked great. The Shrimp did not disappoint. There were 8 butterflied shrimp that come out very nicely fried and not pre-tossed in the creamy sweet chili sauce which allows the shrimp to stay crispy, the sauce comes on the side for dipping. The shrimp tasted fresh, not sure if they are from frozen or fresh, and not sure if they were local or not, but they were better than I was expecting. I would definitely get that again. The Fries are also very good there. They are McDonalds cut and come out in stainless cups which I always like, nice presentation. I remember the Smoked Chicken was generously piled high on the roll. The atmosphere is great when the weather is nice outside and you can sit on the patio overlooking the practice green and 1st tee.Parking: Parking lot has been undergoing a major overhaul and is really starting to look very nice. PD has really put a lot of work into this area between the General Store, the Tennis and Pickleball Center and the RTJ Clubhouse and Big Jims.
