Pleasant experience. Good food, not great. Reasonable wait time and service. Friendly staff. Solid family dinner option.

Unfortunately, we had guests from out of town; and left very disappointed. Two of our party guests ordered the lobster tacos, which were made with fried lobster tail. That was extremely overcooked and tough to chew. Great idea but poor execution. One of our party had the fried flounder and shrimp and felt it was average at Best. The last member of the party had the fish and chips which was very good. Service was good all night with props going out to bartender Christopher Wolfe, who made us feel right at home with a great spirit and attitude. Unfortunately again, our guests left with a poor experience when quality of food was what I boasted about going to this restaurant.

Food was very fresh and tasty. Seafood chowder was loaded with seafood. Fresh grouper was great. The only downside was that both dishes were lukewarm. Service was great from an experienced waiter. Good menu with lots of choices. Wish they had more raw bar selections. Over all a very pleasant experience for a party of 9.

Our family was enjoying a weekend beach vacation and was looking for a seafood restaurant the last night of our stay. We were excited to book a table for 10 within 30 minutes of searching. We couldn't have made a better choice. We had 4 children with us, ages 3 and under and 6 adults. Our server was cheerful, helpful and attentive throughout our meal. The children's menu offered a variety for the kids and they enjoyed their meals. All of the adult meals were outstanding. I would highly recommend the Black Marlin Bayside Grill.

I did not love the sushi salad but that was just me, the tuna and the shrimp were good but I wish I would've ordered something else. The seafood chowder was amazing! And the crab legs were fresh and yummy too. Everyone enjoyed their food!

I took my out of town visitors for dinner on Saturday night. I have previously dined and knew they would love it. It was the perfect choice. Even when we had to adjust our reservation due to time of our show, they were accommodating and very pleasant. The food was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Our server, BO was great. Attentive, friendly and had very good timing. My friends raved about the place. They are already looking forward to returning.

Excellent food & exceptional service. One of the best dinner locations on the island. Always a solid choice.

We felt rushed out. 5:30 reservations and we were presented our check at 6:07 without being asked if we wanted another drink or anything else

Went here on a recommendation from friend while in Hilton Head. Great food, fun vibe, always love having bands play. Easy to find seating. Will come back!

The tuna tacos, fish and chips and scallops were all amazing. The outside vibe was very cool and great for kids. I would highly recommend this place!

We went for the first time tonight and Maggie was our server. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable! Our favorite was the appetizer special, which was baked crab?. We also loved the Grouper Daufuskie as well as the Seafood Alfredo! We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

All the food was overdone to a point you could not eat. From appetizer's to entrees it was very poor quality!!

Our family had a wonderful dinner at the Black Marlin. The menu had excellent choices for everyone, and we appreciated the well rounded kids menu. Our server was outstanding and very personable.
