We eat at the nicest restaurants on the island and this one just got added to the list! Top quality food and service. Nicole was our waitress and she did an awesome job.

Totally not worth it. First off they do not serve any bread with the overly priced “meals”. We asked to sub a vegetable for the polenta that came with the chicken, we were told no problem and then they charged us $14 for a few cooked carrots that tasted like chlorine. We were encouraged to order salad and split it, so we ordered the wedge salad. Watery green dressing over 1/4 iceberg lettuce and 1 inch chunks of tough meat on the side. Just awful. One person had steak, one salmon, and 2 of had the chicken. None of it memorable. Steak came on plate with nothing, not even a piece of garnish. $62 for that. Salmon was nothing special-small piece, no sauce or anything different-just a $40 price tag. Finally the $25 chicken. The tiniest 1/2 chicken I’ve ever seen and it was boiled, supposed to be roasted. They put a sauce over the top of the chicken but it still didn’t help the watery boiled flavor. I can’t believe anyone would be a repeat customer.

Stopped in just for cocktails and stayed for dinner. Eric at the bar was amazing- super welcoming, down to earth and makes incredible cocktails! He recommended the crab cake- we try a Crab cake every where we go that has them. Out of all the states and restaurants we've been to, this one by far was the best. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely go back

This place is somewhere between 4.7 and 4.9! It’s an excellent steak house that strives to be high end, but it’s not quite there. Everything from food, drinks, and service was excellent. The only thing lacking was the presentation of the steak, that high end places usually have. The selection of cuts of meat is also relatively small. Those things, however, are not pre-requisite for an excellent meal we had there. Would definitely return.

The best craft cocktails on Hilton Head! Erik and Tom are super fun bartenders. The wedge with pork belly was amazing! The shrimp bisque was beautiful and delicious! The potatoes au gratin was a very generous portion as well as the filet. This is a must try and exactly what Hilton Head needed.

Everything about this experience was fantastic! I dine out regularly and this was by far the best meal I have had in a long time. The filet was cook perfectly and the potatoes au gratin were simply amazing. The service was top notch, friendly and accommodating. Great job!

Really wonderful fine dining experience. Brand new restaurant to the low country. Offers amazing food options from escargot or bone marrow to the most amazing steak selection you could ask for. Given being new and new staff, serve is a little slower as everyone is still learning. The environment is very romantic and warm. I highly recommend, however, please know your check will be in the 3 digit range almost immediately.

This is a high end restaurant. Plan on $150 plus tip plus for dinner for 2. Great steaks. Ambiance out front in bar area seemed ok passing through but in the back very noisy with a table of six boisterous patrons. Brought our own wine and it was decanted nicely. Corkage fee $30 was high but it’s a relatively expensive restaurant. Young ladies serving were very attentive but not very skilled. Steaks served without silverware, and server almost dropped a plate while serving. Go there for a great steak but not quite ready for prime time.

Amazing, best steak on the island, share one and the sides are share size as well. Delightful atmosphere, delightful staff. Just what we were missing here. Don't miss it!

Had a really excellent dinner this evening. Impressive bar selections. Nice ambience. We had great service and enjoyed all of the food. 3 ribeyes, Salmon, Tartare, Ceasars, Brussels, Lobster Mac. They are starting a Wine Locker program and I can definitely see this becoming a regular stop.
Amazing! Great addition to the Hilton Head fine dining scene. Tried multiple dishes - bone marrow, filet mignon, and Brussels and belly - all fantastic ❤️ We will 100% be back!

I have one of the most wonderful experience here at Bowdies. The steak was cooked just the way I wanted. Service was outstanding and the owner came out personally himself to see if we are happy. Wow I was impressed and I most definitely will be coming back to Bowdies. The drinks is amazing as well. If you are anywhere on Hilton Head Island and craving for a steak, this is the place to go!

Tyler and his expert staff have one of the best steakhouses I ve ever eaten at. The menu describes the dish perfectly and you will have no fear of having to return them to the kitchen. Fantastic everything!

Staff , ambiance , shrimp bisque and steaks were wonderful! Escargot was extremely salty and the pepper corn sauce for the steak was not memorable. Tyler and Mel made us feel right at home even though it was our first time at Bowdies. We will definitely return, keeping in mind they have only been open a few weeks, we look forward to its possibilities. They are off to a great start!

Sat at the bar and was very impressed! Food was on point and great options, service was very attentive, and a well curated wine list. Can't wait to go back!
