Celeste Coastal Cuisine

Food was wonderful, the restaurant was beautiful and inviting and the gentleman at the front was warm and welcoming. Service was just bad. I would have rather ordered from one of those McDonald's kiosks. They completely forgot my salad, our server never asked if we wanted another round of drinks and she brought us bread after our appetizers came out.

The fried green tomatoes were excellent and my steak was perfect. Props to the chef. Minus 2 stars due to the service alone.

LOVE this restaurant. Excellent feed and impeccable service. Celebrated my mother's 90th with a wonderful meal. Asked for the quietest table they could give us and were treated to the amazing table in the wine room which was perfect! Thanks and kudos to the entire Celeste team for delivering a perfect celebration for my mom.

Tonight was a special evening celebrating our engagement. It was our first time at the restaurant and the evening was perfect. The food was exceptional and the service was terrific. The restaurant knew about the occasion and helped make the meal extra special. I will certainly be recommending Celeste to friends and going back again in the future!

Best restaurant on the island! Great atmosphere, service and food. I will definitely return on my next visit. I highly recommend this place.

First of all, I never leave reviews good or bad but, if you appreciate fine dining, then this is the place for you. The fair is exquisite! Our server Tash was absolutely amazing. The table staff was exceptional as well! THE VERY BEST ON TNE ISLAND! A bargain at any price. Can’t leave ten stars, but if I could I would.

This place was awesome. So nice to eat in a restaurant where you can actually hear what your tablemates are saying. The food and service was great. Tash was super friendly and very attentive to our needs. Will definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our meal at Celeste! The food was great and my husband said the blackened redfish was one of best pieces of fish he's had on the island. I got the short rib and the Gouda grits were a standout for me! The service started out a little slow but our waitress apologized and things turned around. Would definitely recommend if you haven't been before!

Really great meal. Celeste was quiet and very relaxing. The wine special was really nice as well, the octopus carpaccio was something else!!!!

An island must do!! Fantastic drinks! The Tuna Crudo is outstanding as is the Jambalaya. If you can, book the wine room, you won't regret it.

Found this restaurant 3 years ago and it was always outstanding. Last night's dining experience not so much. Got there for 5:45 reservation. Only two servers were seen. Bread came to the table after I saw another table with bread and I asked a young man who was not a server if we could have some. He then brought it. Husband said oysters were fabulous. The scallops in his entree were very small. I ordered crab cakes entree with baked potato instead of dirty rice. I never got the potato and the dirty rice was very dry, so didn't eat them.. Server never came by to check on our entree's until we were done. The timing of service was really off...maybe not his fault as there were only 2 servers. Dessert was a wonderful chocolate mousse pie. My husband ordered coffee. The dessert was delivered to the table, we ate it and no coffee ever appeared. When asked about the coffee, server said they were out of coffee...What? In a fine dining restaurant? We waited 10 minutes for the bill to be picked up. We checked to see if we had the cash to pay so we could leave, but we didn't. Next week we have reservations at Celeste with 2 friends who have eaten there with us previously. I sure hope this restaurant can have a turnaround before then.

Fantastic but Pricey. I enjoyed my evening their!

I frequent Celeste and always have a great experience but last night was extra special. The staff made sure that my best friend’s birthday dinner was one to remember. Rawn, the GM made sure the night was seamless. Tosh, our waitress was very kind and patient with our large party and Dolan, at the bar, mixed our cocktails to perfection. It’s safe to say Celeste offers the full experience!

Absolutely wonderful dinner and overall experience. The mini crab claws and fried green tomatoes were so delicious. The server was helpful in providing recommendations on the menu. For dinner, we had the Cajun grouper, blackened red fish, crab cakes, and scallops. Every dish was perfect. For dessert, we tried the strawberry cake-fabulous! Definitely a great spot and we will for sure be back!

Wonderful experience. Beat salad was very large and very tasty. I had the blackened red fish which was excellent, and my wife had the scallops with risotto, also excellent. We ate in the bar with Dolan providing great recommendations and fantastic service. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the temperature in the bar area. It seemed like something wasn’t functioning properly. We would have stayed longer and had after dinner drinks and dessert, but it was too uncomfortable. Even Dolan was sweating behind the bar.
