Charlie's L'etoile Verte

Seated next to a table of 12 male golfers. They had a great time, but we had to yell to hear each other. Put a damper on our friends's birthday

We love Charlie's and unfortunately our dining was spoiled due to a large group at a round table that was very loud and then obnoxious. Disappointing when your expectations are different!

Always delicious. Love the fish with mango sauce & the au gratin potatoes. Try to make this one of our stops when in Hilton Head.

Excellent choice. Outstanding, well-presented food. The service was fantastic. Prompt without hovering. Friendly and knowledgeable. We now know what the fuss is all about. WE'LL BE BACK!

It is my friend's 97th birthday and we had a wonderful lunch. The dessert (caramel cake)was a special treat for her birthday given to her by Charlie's. Our server, Michelle, was wonderful and attentive - readily took care of our every need. The food was delicious as it is always. I have so many favorites at Charlie's that it is hard to decide what to order. The large cobb salad was my order today and my 2 friends had the special quiche tart. All were so good and ample!!!.

Our entrees were abit diappointing and the wait staff appeared to have too many tables assigned to her. We enjoyed the half price wine; we'll back but the visit was not up to the standards we expect from Charlie's.

We look forward to eating at Charlie's every time we're in Hilton Head. It's a charming spot and the food is amazing!

Sadly not the same quality as usual. Dissatisfied with our last visit, April 17, 2025.

We had another wonderful meal at Charlie’s! Our son loves the cheese burger (only needs one patty for the kids), the red fish special was incredible as were the scallops. As someone who loves a fabulous desert and is annoyed by imposters (such a bummer when they aren’t worth it) let me tell you, that chocolate peanut butter trifle cake is the real deal and then some! Yum! And our 9yo son loved the chocolate sauce on the ice cream, however now he’s convinced he needs to travel to Brussels one day for their exquisite chocolate :) we enjoy the classic and timeless historical feel of the venue, service was wonderful, thank you!

Last minute date night with no reservations. We were able to get a table in the bar, cocktails came out fast. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was amazing. We live in Bluffton, but this is our new date spot. Thank you so much.

Excellent service by Jodi. Food was mediocre. Ordered the Mahi with mango sauce, took one bite and told others at the table to try it. We all agreed it was way over salted. They said we can make it without any seasoning. What? Who does that? Just season it correctly! But ok. They brought a new one out quickly, it was better, but to be honest it’s the mango sauce that must have been laden with salt also. Someone else at our table had duck, mediocre, swordfish was seasoned nicely. Crème Caramel was excellent, yayy for pastry chef! Would not recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful dinner as always, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We always look forward to dinner at Charlie’s on our annual fall sojourn in Hilton Head. The hand-written menu says it all!
