Update, I just called to confirm our reservation for a special evening and learned they moved us to another restaurant there. Not right, do better.

We went to Coast for our 30th anniversary dinner. We made reservations, which helped. We were greeted by the host team and seated immediately, which was wonderful. Yes, you have to pay $ 10 to get in, but the fee is deducted from your bill when you present your parking pass.
The service: We had Tom (Thomas), and he was amazing. Super kind, attentive, and quick to offer advice. He is the type of server you hope to get.
The food: The meal was on point.
The appetizer was wonderful, and we got the seafood michelada, which was wonderful. If we tweak anything, we recommend warming the tortilla chips. The seafood salsa was great cold, but would have been good warm as well. Good balance of salsa and seafood, the salsa was more upfront, but not in a way that would be disappointing.
The main dishes: I got the seasonal fish, plancha-style. It was a nice local fish filet with lemon butter and asparagus. Everything was cooked very well, no complaints at all. My bride got the filet with whipped potatoes and green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly and came with a sauce, but it could have used some seasoning, since my wife is less of a sauce person. The green beans were solid, and the potatoes were really good, and you could tell they were real potatoes, which is what you would expect. Also, the manager was attentive and came by to ask about our meal, and we noticed him doing that with other tables, which was nice.
The bar kicked out drinks efficiently and offered generous pours. We ended with their chocolate torte, and they customized it to highlight our anniversary. After dinner, we grabbed a drink and went out to view the ocean for a while. The outside area provided another bar with heaters and amazing staff, which was nice.
We've read other negative reviews, but this wasn't our experience. For the two of us, with appetizer, meal, dessert, and a few drinks, and a Peligrino was around 250 with tax and tip. We knew this would likely be the price point. We were not disappointed with the service, the food, and the view. Thus, the overall experience of the atmosphere, food, service, live music, and beachfront view was solid and worth it. We spent a week at Hilton Head and ate at several recommended restaurants. That said, this was by far the best meal we had. We would absolutely return.

Kaci made our entire dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she took incredible care of my wife and me with such genuine warmth and attention to detail. She was attentive without ever being overbearing, made excellent recommendations, and ensured everything was absolutely perfect throughout the meal.
The food was outstanding, but what truly elevated the experience was Kaci’s amazing service. She created such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere that we were able to fully relax and enjoy our time together.
It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes so much pride in what they do. Kaci went above and beyond, and we’ll definitely be back because of her. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit!
Give her a raise !!!!

We went with 12 people and were greeted by the hostess who immediately told us that we would have to have a single check. Really wasn’t a problem as it didn’t matter to our party but it wasn’t really a nice start. Exactly one hour after being seated we still had no food. We were now getting quite hungry and asked for some bread and they brought out a very small basket (maybe 8 very thin slices ) for 12 people Asked for another basket that came with our meals. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging $10 for a basket of bread and we were surprised to find an additional $20 on our bill. The food was adequate (certainly not amazing). The only bright spot was our waitress who was very pleasant and did the absolute best she could do in taking care of us.

Great menu (children's included) with both local seafood and non-seafood items. Everything was delicious and the service was superb! Coast accommodated my family's needs and made us feel welcome. Would recommend!

My son and I both want to give Aimee a shout out. She recommended not only a delicious peach old fashioned but the blue crab dip, which we came back the next day and got again. She was A+ server and really made our experience that much better.

All aspects were wonderful, from the ocean view to service and both the excellent appetizer (skewered shrimp) and entree (flounder).

We decided on Coast for our anniversary dinner while in Hilton Head and we are glad we did. Everything about the evening was a great experience. The view from the patio area is wonderful. As the evening cooled, they were able to drop a clear barrier that blocked the wind without disturbing the view.
The food was excellent. We started with hush puppies. The catch of the day was Mahi Mahi. I ordered it blackened and it was cooked perfectly. The salsa for the fish was also very good. We finished with the Coconut Cake and a glass of Tawny Port to conclude a wonderful meal.
The service matched the prices. Our server was Logan, and he was outstanding throughout the evening.
The experience is worthy of special occasions. We would definitely celebrate here again.

Amazing hostest brought us to a sunny windless spot and gave us option to move inside whenever. Our waiter Matthew was amazing, attentive, and full of insight weather we asked a menu question or an island question he perfectly answered.
Food was quick and tasty.
Views, music, vibe 10/10

Waited too long to be seated, even though we had confirmed reservations. Then, it took 15 minutes before a server arrived. Placed drink and appetizer order, then another server stopped by to take the same order. Waited and waited for the drinks to arrive. Chose to order main meal off appetizer selection, as we were hesitant to order a 52.00 filet. Worried it would arrive cold. Very frustrating! The manager came over to let us know she was providing a dessert on them for our frustration. One and done with this place!

Food was not cooked properly. Asparagus - for $7 and supposedly a side to share gave you 3 spears. Had to remind staff to bring the Diet Coke 40 minutes into the meal. Many other better locations on the island.

The upstairs lounge is great. We actually canceled our reservation for the dining room and came back the next night. Sit at the bar. Marlowe is fantastic!
