This place is a true diamond in the rough and an amazing family restaurant. Don't like burgers and sandwiches? They got great sushi. Don't like sushi and other Asian dishes? They got great burgers. It really is the best of both worlds that you think wouldn't work, and yet it does. Combine that with some great bang for your buck, I really can't recommend this place enough!

I came for the all you can eat sushi for my second year in a row and was thoroughly impressed. The sushi is fresh and everything I had tasted great. The menu for the all you can eat was also huge and included appetizers, soups and salads, and smaller portions of teriyaki/ hibachi entrees along with dozens of sushi rolls. The all you can eat option is a great value if you come with an appetite. My waitress was very prompt and made sure I had a good experience.

Nakama Sushi, near Coligny Beach in Hilton Head, is a great spot if you’re craving sushi or hibachi while on the island. We ordered a mix of sushi rolls and hibachi, and overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
The sushi was clean and balanced—not overly dressed up, just solid, high-quality ingredients that tasted great. The hibachi was also satisfying, with tender meat, tasty fried rice, and well-cooked veggies. Everything came out hot...
