Daily Cafe

The only problem with the Cafe is it doesn't open on time, then when the doors open, today at 8:08 am, you had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the eggs to bake. Sometimes a place may be off for a day, not more than that. Doors should be open and all ready to serve at 8:,00 if that is when you open. Both days the spoon, napkin set up had no forks, napkins or spoons. Having worked retail when your store opens, on time all should be prepared.

Worst breakfast on the beautiful Hilton Head island. Don’t come here. The food is stale and has no taste. Staff is confused. Management is rude. They are missing half of the ingredients they advertise on the menu.

The staff here was nice, the setting is cool but inside feels like you are not on a beautiful tropical island and more like you are in a coffee shop in downtown NYC. Has a little touristy vibe but the pastries were decent. We are huge coffee fans. I mean HUGE. We travel the world drinking coffee and espresso and the coffee here was well…disappointing. It was open on Easter, which is impressive so I will give it that. If your are looking for a strong coffee with that kick then I would steer clear of here because it’s a whole lot of milk and not a lot of espresso(maybe it was just a weak espresso granted). We would maybe go back due to the vast menu and the great location. Overall not the best coffee shop but not the worse we have ever seen.

The coffee is tasty (we took 2 latte), but not strong. I liked the breakfast, I ordered avocado toast (very fluffy and high layer of avocado🥑) and my husband ordered a bagel. All together it cost $35. There were not many people on Sun (11am). There is an embankment with yachts nearby, you can walk while you wait for your order.

This cafe had the worst customer service that I have experienced on Hilton head island ever. Lied and refused to serve us breakfast, treated us like we were not allowed to be in there. After we ordered they sent us outside to wait and said we could not be inside. We only spoke to one staff member and she was extremely rude and stand offish. They heated my pastry up for less than 30 seconds and it was ice cold on the inside. Really wanted to like this place but have never been treated so rudely by a staff member than our female cashier.

Best breakfast spot on the island. Seriously can’t go wrong with anything, Smoked Salmon Bagel is great. Looking at boats in the Harbor is unbeatable.

As a visitor to the island who was here for the 4th, it’s extremely disappointing the way you responded to my husband’s review which was 100% truthful, I have the time stamps on my phone as to when we arrived and left to call other establishments which was well before 2pm. We arrived around 1:45pm. I have an auto immune condition and it’s not easy to find places I have something to eat, so to be turned away from lunch and then slandered here over Google reviews - which by the way, this is why reviews exist, I rarely if ever leave a negative one, but this put a big damper on our day going on a goose chase just to find something to eat on a holiday in a tourist town. I’m happy you aren’t going anywhere, and that others had a pleasant experience but the way you turned us away and now defend yourself here is not how you treat customers. I don’t appreciate you calling us liars when we’re honestly giving feedback. Best of luck to you.

The employees here are so genuine and nice. Im a regular here and am always greeted with the nicest manners. The food and drinks are great, you have to get try the avocado toast!
