This is hidden gem of a restaurant. Good variety of food choices and have yet to find a bad one. We're adding this place to our list of regular spots and we've been coming to HHI for 40+ years.

The worst meal we have had on HHI. Ordered hotdog cheese chili and fries. Room temperature hot dog and chili with cheese partially melted. French fries must have been fried earlier then let to sit and cool and absorb the oil. Served room temperature. Nothing was served hot. I should have told the owner because this meal for 3 plus 3 beers +tip was $70.00. Had to tip the waiter because the bad meal was not his fault. I Do not recommend !!!!!!

Potato skins seems like they been sitting before they came to table lettuce was brown on southern chicken sandwich certainly was impressed with the food

First time customers, arrived ~5:30pm on Sunday, empty restaurant-full bar, seated quickly, responsive waiter- Andrew, featured crab cakes were ok, gumbo was salty, decent she-crab soup.

We enjoy are visits to DD always run into a familiar face. Nice mostly local group of folks. The atmosphere is good and nice to catch a Sunday game. We have enjoyed several menu items when’s the last time you had a sloppy Joe sandwich well here you go.

What a FANTASTIC bunch to be found at this local establishment. Fried Seafood Platters, Soft Shell Crabs, great burgers and sliders. I'll definitely be back!

If it wasn't for the server, River, it would be a complete fail.
Sandwich buns were inedible (hard), salad
ingredients were brown and the food was cold.
Fried green tomatoes were good.

I have been to Hilton Head many times but this was the first time trying the DryDock. It did not disappoint! If you are looking for where the locals go for seafood you have found it. The staff was great from the bartender to our servicer Geo who was awesome. Very welcoming place. Now on to the food. I had the shrimp basket. The shrimp were lightly battered and fried perfectly. The shrimp were fresh and had great flavor. I had Dock fries which appeared to be fresh cut. Also had a side of hushpuppies, which had great flavor and texture. This is a must try when visiting Hilton Head island.
