Five stars for Fraser’s Tavern — the kind of place you stop into thinking you’ll grab a quick bite, and next thing you know you’re back again because your brain can’t shake the memory of that first meal. I ate here twice on my trip, and honestly, if I’d stayed one more day, they probably would’ve seen me a third time.

The burger is exactly what a burger should be — juicy, flavorful, no circus tricks, just honest perfection on a bun. Pair it with an ice-cold beer and you’ve got the kind of meal that resets your entire outlook on the day. And the service? Absolutely top notch. Friendly, fast, and dialed in without being over the top — the kind of staff that makes the whole place run smooth.

Fraser’s Tavern quietly becomes one of those spots you look forward to without even realizing it.

Never got to the Tavern because Sea Pines charges $9.00 just to drive thru their gates. No thank you.

I ate on the veranda, looking over the beautiful golf course and the golfers as the tried to hone their skills. Wonderful view! Very Southern atmosphere!

First time here and was kind of disappointed. Two of us had the special which was new england clam chowder and tasted nothing like clam chowder. Two others had salads which were fine. We were served plastic cups while everyone else had glasses. You would think an establishment named after Charles Fraser who was all about the surrounding nature, wouldn't be serving plastic. I thought maybe they ran out of glasses but even the people after us had glasses. Our waitress wasn't very attentive at all and service was slow. They were not slammed either. I don't think we'll be back.

It was slow at end of evening. Only had a couple beers but bartender made sure he asked us if we wanted food before kitchen closed. Very professional

Dined at Fraser's Tavern Saturday, Sept. 20th and seated outside. Great food, good atmosphere, beautiful course view. Would have had a very good experience if we had service. Where was our server? No plates when the appetizers were served. Our table had no table condiments. Not what I expected.

Dining Experience at Fraser’s Tavern

We enjoyed a delightful evening on the veranda, where we had a stunning view of the golf course. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the prime rib, which I highly recommend—it's a Saturday night specialty that should not be missed.

The ambiance was perfect, complemented by attentive service that made our experience even more enjoyable. With an exceptional menu offering a variety of delectable dishes, it’s clear that the chef has a real talent for creating delicious meals.

Overall, this restaurant delivers a fantastic dining experience. Kudos to the team for a job well done!

We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years and decided to try Fraser’s for the first time. Honestly I was surprised how much we all loved the food. I expected a golf course restaurant to be more of a pub food menu but even the shrimp and fish we ordered was amazing. Awesome, casual atmosphere with great views if you sit outside.

Absolutely Best Salmon salad I’ve had ever 😊 Mac and cheese with ribs 👍👍the green-beans to die for. Burgers just as awesome with fries 😊
