Lovely place! Super kind people, with a quiet environment and the food was so delicious. As someone who loves sushi this really made me refreshed coming to visit Hilton head for vacation. If you’re in Hilton head and want good priced and quality sushi or hibachi, this is the spot. I would recommend to anyone.

Sat at the table for 15 minutes and the waiter never acknowledged us. Only 1 other table had people. The waiter served drinks to the other table and still didn't acknowledge us. When we got up and left the waiter didn't even asked us why we were leaving.
If you want to eat DON'T GO HERE.

My family and I had the pleasure of eating here after a hot day on the beach. We sat at the bar and had delicious sushi and saki. I loved the cat decor so much, the owner was kind enough to let me purchase several things. The owners were absolutely lovely. It was a bit hard to find due to maps directing us behind the restaurant. However, it’s truly a hidden gem you won’t want to miss!

Best sushi on the Island

The food took a very long time to prepare very simple rolls. The rolls were a lot smaller in portion than what we normally have when eating sushi but priced still $7/roll. The waiter forgot two different tables’ cards when paying and there were only 3 tables occupied. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking to eat sushi.

Very good sushi I will return the next time. I’m in Hilton Head South Carolina. Go there there is no way you will be seated immediately and you will get your food fast and they will be great service

I would give them 100* if I could!! This is the absolute best hibachi and sushi I have ever had and I've been all over the country. If you try this place you will agree!

Surprised to see negative reviews. I work nearby, with really variable hours and have visited Fujiyama at all sorts of times/seasons. Always receive excellent service and delicious food.

Oftentimes people misunderstand the kinds of seafood HHI is known for - tuna, salmon, etc. don't usually swim in our waters so try the oysters or shrimp!

We were a bit disappointed with our visit. Service was quite slow - it took about 50 minutes for our sushi to arrive. The rolls themselves were surprisingly small; we ordered three “special rolls” (our usual amount at other places), but we left still feeling hungry. Even the water had a strange aftertaste.

The bill came to $60 (before tip) for just three rolls, and one of them wasn’t even what I ordered. I decided to check the receipt, but the rolls weren’t itemized on it at all. Overall, not the best experience.

Came in on a Thursday night without a reservation. My wife had a couple sushi rolls and I had the shrimp hibachi. Delicious food and super friendly staff, we’ll be back!
