My husband and I have been biking down to Coligny Plaza in the mornings while on vacation. Today is the first time we tried Gringo’s Diner. We are so glad we stopped by this small diner. If you are looking for a classic diner atmosphere, this is your place. Our food was hot and fresh. The staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely pay it a visit on future trips to Hilton Head.
Parking: My husband and I rode our bikes, but there was plenty of parking for early morning; however, Coligny is very busy during peak hours.

Hard to say....went a few weeks ago and everything was great. Today, the server was having a conversation with another customer and insisted on taking our order at the same time. He repeated it back to me correctly, and it was still wrong when it was brought out.

The Philly Cheese is hands down the best I’ve had in the south. Highly recommended!! The home style fries are also absolutely delicious and service to match. Will make a point to stop here any time in Hilton Head!!

Great and welcoming atmosphere! HOWEVER, the food was not satisfactory at all. None of the food had seasoning at all and the cheese for my eggs was not melted . The portion we received for the price was not good either. Will recommend for good atmosphere but would not recommend the breakfast menu.

The staff were very welcoming when we entered. The food was delicious and the value was probably the best we had at Hilton Head. Definitely a place we'll go back to next time.
Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available and plenty of options on the menu.
This is the best breakfast on the island. The food is made to order. I wish I'd taken a picture but it looked so good when our server brought it to the table. Order the #5. It's a full Platter of hot deliciousness. Grits, eggs with cheese, bacon AND sausage AND a choice of Pancakes or French toast.

Chill Dinner, great customer service. Breakfast was ok, ordered the Gringos Breakfast. Eggs had a greasy taste, grits were good and creamy, bacon toasty, french toast was didn’t even need syrup. Meal with no drink $16.50.
