Interesting tour, Emily was our tour guide and she was a perfect mix of fun and informative. Great opportunity to taste several of their offerings at the end of the tour, we shipped a few bottles home and they arrived in about a week.

Not much staff, not much food and just ok spirits.

Emily was our guide. She was funny, knowledgeable and was super kind. Highly recommend!

Nice distillery if you’re visiting HHI. Decent selection of mixed drinks with their spirits. We especially like their rums. They have tastings too which is nice if you don’t know what you want. Staff is friendly, including the cat!

Very enjoyable tour of the Hilton Head Distillery, led by Doug. Doug took us through the entire distillery process, as well as a full history, in a fun and entertaining way. The products we sampled were excellent as well. Highly recommended for those 21+ who appreciate locally crafted rum! ??

The best rum I’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately the staff were incredibly inattentive.

While the alcohol was decent, the experience was incredibly lacking. I brought my family here and they were so excited to order tasting flights and get a free souvenir shot glass (a clearly defined option listed on the menu). My family ordered three separate tasting flights because they were so excited to get the glasses. Upon paying, the bartender informed us that they are no longer giving out the glasses because “people were stealing too many, so we don’t have any to give out.” I empathize with distillery for this difficult issue, but they should have either informed us or taken the option off the menu. In addition, we were never approached to order or pay our check. Overall, a disappointing experience.

My drinks were good but the service was not. Slowest service I’ve had anywhere in a long time. We had to ask to be checked out while trying to purchase bottles to take home as no one was at the counter. They did have a cute distillery cat. No flare and very quiet establishment.

We arrived before 5pm. The last tour was already done (which we were glad we missed because they're $35). We went inside for sampling. It's $15 for 3 tiny samples (1 1/2oz total). They do "give" you a shot glass to keep but IMO it's too expensive to bother.

The service was awful. We waited an hour for a drink and another hour just for our bill. We had a party of 12 and they didn't care to wait on us.

Our tour guide Doug was super friendly and you can tell that he enjoys what he does. He was very knowledgeable about the distillery and all the products they produce. Their liquors are reasonably priced especially for the quality that you get. Would recommend doing the tour if you are in the area.

Nice, little distillery tucked away in Hilton Head Island. Serving a variety of house distilled rum, also bourbon and whiskies. We missed their last distillery tour of the day - but folks who had been on it had raving reviews of it. The friendly staff manning their bar make you comfortable and relaxed in their warehouse themed store cum bar. Staff make sure we are served with lots of taste before you choose yiur drink. The cocktails served are unique and generously mixed.

Need to go. We went at 1:30pm and got a private tour. Got the whole scope and tasted everything that was made at house.

I was really looking forward to this tour. Unfortunately, our tour guide, Stew ruined the experience. My wife and I arrived at 4:09 for our 4:15 tour. The second we opened the door Stew screamed at us and said we needed to leave because we were too early (the website said to arrive 15 minutes early). He did the same to a couple behind us. We chuckled amongst ourselves and my wife made the comment that she hoped he wasn’t our tour guide, because what an awful first impression. We went to the gift shop to kill time. When we came back Stew was still in a sour mood, being short with other guests and ruining the vibe. A group walked in at 4:28 and he loudly complained about them being late and turned them away. So, you show up early and you’re rudely told to wait elsewhere and you show up 2 minutes before the tour and you’re told you can’t take the tour? At one point he looked at me and made a comment about how I hadn’t blinked, smiled, laughed etc. To be frank, I probably did look unamused, I wanted to leave. He had been rude to practically everyone on the tour at this point so, no I wasn’t having a good time. I could understand if a guest was giving him a hard time, but none of us said anything out of the way to him. We paid to come visit the distillery and learn about the rum distillation process, not to have a rude tour guide. To add icing to the cake his microphone was busted so I didn’t hear a word of what he had to say, practically making the tour pointless.
