I got BOX of desserts for my family to sample as well as fresh rustic Herb & OO bread….it was fun to sample with our family. There was nothing that we didn’t like. Hilton Head Social Bakery South is worth a trip!

Mixed opinions. I wanted to LOVE this place but I didn’t. The caramel ice coffee was sickening sweet, I didn’t like the quiche the way I should have, and the lemon tart had a mysterious flavor above the crust. The lemon filling itself was phenomenal but there was an interruption. The quiche lacked egg and had an odd texture… however, it had the best crust I’ve ever had. The service at the register was friendly and quick. I’d be interested in sampling more of your menu because I know this place is great but I didn’t hit the target when ordering.

Stopped in this morning for coffee and pastries here’s the good and the not-so-good, but don’t worry the good outweighs the bad.
The place was very busy, but to their credit, the staff was friendly and impressively efficient at keeping the line moving. Even under pressure, they handled the crowd with professionalism and kindness.
Now for the coffee. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. They use super-automatic machines rather than manual espresso equipment, so the result tasted more like something you’d get at a gas station than a specialty café.
That said, the desserts more than made up for it. We tried the cheesecake and two different tarts, and all three were exceptional. Easily some of the best we’ve ever had.
I’d definitely return for the pastries and the warm service. Just wouldn’t come back for the coffee.

Best dang croissant I’ve ever had. The coffee was great and the line moved fast. Will be going back when we visit again.

This is an oasis for coffee lovers. I've been living in the USA for 5 months, and I've spat out more coffee than I can remember. Here, they serve real coffee, with plenty of options to choose from. The food is also incredible, super tasty and fresh. This is one of the best coffees I've had in this country so far. Congratulations! An absolutely recommended gem!

Dirty. Coffee accoutrements were empty or dishelved. Seat and window bar was dirty. Coffee was just ok. Baked item was very good.

Beautiful desserts! Smell wafts through cafe! However, DO NOT GET SPECIALTY COFFEE DRINKS, iced monkey latte has thick chocolate shavings on the bottom, not appetizing, weird texture when just trying to drink iced coffee (shavings would make sense for a frappe instead). ICED MATCHA IS SO CHUNKY, they do not know how to make Japanese matcha which they advertise on the menu. Totally understand if this was a one-off issue, but highly disappointed in the quality of the beverages. We returned our matcha lattes and they kindly remade our drinks. We did not try any of the yummy lunch options, but the homemade breads looked amazing. It is a bakery but if you put beverages on the menu they should also be quality. Moral of the story one of the employees struggles to make drinks, but redemption is always an option.

We stopped in after church and had the most amazing Passionfruit Pavlova, Almond Croissant, Berry Croissant and delicious Mozzarella and Prosciutto sandwich on amazing bread. If you are looking for authentic Parisian bites, breads and desserts- this is your place! The owners are so kind and helpful... they exceed the guests expectations!

I should have tried this place sooner. Ate here twice this week on vacation. Customer service and pastries are amazing. Sandwiches were even better. Very reasonable prices for portion size. A can’t miss!
