Went after we did a Shrimp Trawling Tour. Place was recommended by our guide. Beautiful night so we asked for outdoor seating but we're so happy that it was sort of an open air place so we were able to watch the Bills football game. Great service and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the Burria Taco and Coconut Shrimp tacos.

Such a hidden gem! We were killing time before meeting friends nearby so we popped in to Holy Tequila for a couple drinks and some chips…boy did we underestimate this place! I was expecting the usual basic chips and salsa and blah margaritas but Holy Tequila is on another level! We absolutely loved the smoked pineapple margaritas (the tequila was painstakingly infused with home smoked pineapple by the owner, Julia!) and the delicious Halloween margarita adorned with fun bats and a skull toothpick. The salsa, also homemade by Julia, is OUTSTANDING and buying a container to take home is a MUST! With this level of quality and customer care we can’t wait to go back!! The new owners should be very proud of what they are doing at Holy Tequila.

Great margaritas. But very very poor food options. Their queso was like water. Their veggie fajita has only peppers and onions , but no other veggies. Servers are basically high school students who could care less.

Phenomenal experience here. Food? On point. Vibe? Killer. Service? Spectacular, especially the bartenders. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting HHI. I’ll certainly be back, that’s for sure.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! The pastor tacos are delicious and our bartender Molly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything from the food to the ambiance and decor and music everything was on point! We will for sure be back every time we are in HHI!

Amazing experience! My husband and I sat at the bar which is really unusual for us but we had such a good time! Our bartender Molly was so friendly and recommended the Double Barrel Cadillac which was so delicious and definitely enhanced the meal! Good food and great service!

We will definitely be back!! We both had tacos and their cheesy rice. Great choice!! Excellent food and super nice bartender/owner Mike. He and my husband talked football and he told us about a great sub sandwich place that we stopped by on our way to Atlanta.

We had such a wonderful experience at Holy Tequila! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and welcoming—perfect for enjoying a great meal with our family. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was delicious and authentic, leaving me excited to come back and try more of the menu the next time we are on Hilton Head Island.

A special shoutout goes to our waiter, DJ, who truly made the evening exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His energy and professionalism added so much to the overall experience.

If you’re looking for fantastic Mexican food paired with outstanding service in a lively atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go!
