Had a great time and had great wine! The two ladies were very friendly and helpful with the people visiting like us. All of the wines were very nice! For $10 we tried six different wines and we came home with ten bottles! Very nice little hang out place to relax and enjoy a good wine! Heard they have some music on the weekends it’s unfortunate we have to head back home. Thank you ladies for sweet time with a good wine!

I planned to take my wife here for her birthday. We got to the store and told them we wanted the island experience for two. We were told that was only available online (WHICH IS NOT STATED ON THE WEBSITE). The employees said this has happended several times, but the owner told them she believes the website is correct. I was then going to purchase the voucher online. I was then told that since the owner wasn't in it would take at least 10 hours to email the certificate (that is online).

We stopped in for a six pour tasting, they have a large list of wines and all six we chose tasted great! Lots of seating options, including outside options which we enjoyed, a cute winery cat running around, and friendly service. The harvest white- sweet muscadine wine was so good we couldn’t leave the island without stopping to purchase a few bottles to take home to family and friends. Some food pairings such as cheese/crackers would’ve been excellent, but overall a great stop!

The Island Winery was one of the highlights for my birthday weekend in HHi. Tom and Laurie were AWESOME. The two lovely’s (us) arrived, and had a wonderful time, with fantastic wine and music on the patio.Loved the alligator, but wouldn’t fit in my suitcase. This adorable and delicious winery is my go-to for guests that come into town, or a fun afternoon with friends. Nancy has been behind the bar most visits and is both knowledgable about the wines and a gracious host. Bring some snacks to go along with the tasty wines, sit outside in the sun, and enjoy!

Wide selection of wines. Many are well done and enjoyable. Unfortunately, we saw the same bottle of Nebbiolo we bought for $23 at the winery in Piggly-Wiggly for $20. On the POSITIVE side, their tasting pours were generous.They also had a special limited-edition Sherry-based hot sauce that was spectacular!!Final verdict: definitely stop in for a tasting flight.
