Ended up here because we were too early for our distillery tour across the road. They suggested we visit the Island Winery and we were glad that we did :) Emily was a delightful in welcoming us while we killed time. We enjoyed a glass of wine and she gave us a brief background on the Hilton Head Island Winery. If you’re in the Hilton Head area, this is definitely a nice respite.
What a lovely winery! Visited with our Volpino Italiano dog, their adorable cat made sure she realized who was in charge LOL!!! Totally enjoyed the wines, Sommelier and environment. Bought a couple bottles. The peach wine was outstanding for summertime, that from me who loves reds!! Bought a couple bottles and will visit again next time I travel this way!!!
We had a very positive experience here. Stopped for wine tasting. They were not very busy. The place is not large, they have a small indoor seating area plus outdoor seating. Our hostess was very friendly. They have two dry whites, two dry reds, and the rest are fruit wines or other specialty sweet wines. The price is very reasonable. Six tastings for $10. The pours are also very generous. We certainly enjoyed our stay.
