Jane Bistro and Bar

After flying into Savannah on a Saturday, and getting checked in at our resort in Hilton Head, my wife and I came for dinner. We made a reservation on opentable, and the hostess called to let us know that even though we had a later reservation, they had plenty of seating and that we could arrive earlier if we wanted. I had the Southern Salad and was blown away with the flavor! My wife had the Tuscan Chicken Pasta, and an order of the fried green tomatoes. We ended up coming back on Tuesday evening with my wife's sister and our nephew, we both ended up having the salad this time around and the Tomato Flat Bread which we thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere during late dinner hours is slow and laid back, but I know from the booking experience that lunch time seems to be one of the most popular timeslots. The staff were friendly knowledgeable and nice, definitely worth a visit or two!

Love Jane's. The serving sizes are plentiful, taste is excellent and presentation is appealing. Eat here often and have not been disappointed. Recommend you make reservations but occasionally you you. An just walk in.

Our waiter Tushan was earnest & attentive! So much of the food is clearly made from scratch. The beef stroganoff was different than any I have ever had because the beef was not hidden or buried in a cream sauce and the flavors just really shined. Despite being full Tushan convinced us the coconut cake was terrific and we could bring it home if we didn't finish which is exactly what happened. Delightful experience! Will return!

Great food, worth the wait. Great atmosphere, service, and food. Their appetizers are reasonably priced and outstanding! I had the best garlic shrimp served in a bowl of never ending delicious sauce, and it had a nice salad and bread. Absolutely worth waiting a few minutes for a seat and meal. I Come here for Quality food.

This was our first visit here based on a strong recommendation from a friend.
My order was wrong. It included an item I am sensitive to that I specifically requested twice to leave off, so I could not eat it.
There was no apology, no adjustment of the check. Just an "oh, sorry" and no more waiter for the rest of the meal. If this was once a great place to eat, they really missed the mark today.

I was very pleased with the solid service at Jane Bistro & Bar—staff were exceptionally pleasant, and the food was enjoyable. The cocktails were well-made, and prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially given Hilton Head’s usual rates and today’s inflation. It was a lovely experience overall, balancing quality with affordability.

Pretty good food, pretty terrible service. Party of 4, we were one of the first tables to be sat at 11:15 am and didn't get our check until 12:40. At one point we had to go get our own water, salt & pepper because no one brought us any upon request.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the Crispy Flounder. It was cooked perfectly. Great flavor and not greasy. My wife had the Greek salad and couldn’t say enough positive things about it. Once again excellent. We were there on. Monday evening so the place was not crowded. Service was excellent. Will definitely come back.
