Added a gratuity of 22% to bill and did not tell us, happy we caught it before leaving a gratuity. We won't be returning

We took advantage of their early dining menu and appreciated the inclusion of one drink and salad included in the price. Two of us ordered the chicken piccata - it was delicious! We will definitely be back again.

The weather was beautiful so we sat outside. Very nice. We all had sandwiches and burger type food. Everyone was very happy with their meals

We just moved into HHP and it was the first time visiting Lagerhead Tavern. We were extremely pleased with everything! The ambience was on point, service attentive, and the dinner was hot, and delicious. We will definitely be back!

A casual Sunday evening called for flatbread (pulled pork flatbread for me and chicken pesto flatbread for my husband) and some wine after a long day. The weather was perfect for the patio and Ricky's service was fabulous, as always. We topped it off with a couple of outstanding desserts - pumpkin cheesecake and bread pudding. I wouldn't change a thing!

I want to love Lagerhead.. a great neighborhood location with such potential for greatness.. Sadly, somehow, they continue to struggle to make it to that level. Food is generally really good, but most of my experiences since they have been in business have missed the mark due to what I can only assume are staffing issues. Our waiter was great but running around like the other few waitstaff that were there on 9/10/25. I can only assume good management is very hard to come by... Really hoping that they can pull it together...

We always dine at Lagerhead Tavern while vacationing in Hilton Head! It never disappoints! Food is always great! The service is good and the restaurant is a beautiful atmosphere!

We had a great dinner with three of us taking advantage of the Wednesday night burger special. The service provided by our server Kennedy was excellent. The food was prepared as requested. Very nice evening!

Our friends introduced us to this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, with great service and the food is nicely prepared. Fish is local and you can tell with the first bite.

THE LADIES BOTH HAD THE BLACKENED SALMON BLOAT SANDWICH, WITH TERRIFIC FRENCH FRIES, AND I HAD THE HOT-HONEY CHICKEN SLIDERS AND TWO GENEROUS GLASSES OF MERLOT. TWO SLIDERS ARE PLENTY FOR ME, SO ONE CAME HOME FOR DINNER. RICKY'S TABLE SERVICE IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT AND, WHEN IT ISN'T TOO BUSY, WE ALWAYS ENJOY CHATTING WITH HIM. HE HAS A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR. ANWAY, LAGERHEAD IS, FOR US, A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX, TALK, AND HAVE A BITE TO EAT WITH OLD FRIENDS.

I would suggest that when you do not have AC for 6 days you advise the customer pror them coming in.For the first time I had a problem with the ribs tasted and the fat on the ribs.

This is a great little secret in HHP. We arrived at 5:15 and only a few tables were taken. By the time we left, the place was nearly full. They had one bartender serving the entire place and maybe 2 waitresses. But, they had another problem---their internet was down due to the afternoon storm. This is forgivable.

Always enjoy our time at lagerhead, whether it is brunch, lunch or dinner. Food is great and wait staff wonderful. Ricky always makes us feel like family. Love having this restaurant right in my own back yard!
