So, It's McDonalds and I mean not expecting 5-star service. BUT...This place?! OMG, One person in our group has food allergies, so typically have a safe snack place in Mickey D's. You can't order from the Kiosk with that issue, so we went up to the counter, caught the eye of three employees and they turned and ignored us! So we flagged down a woman and before we could open our mouth, she shook her head, let out an audible sigh, and snarkily said "what did you place an order at the Kiosk?" As soon as we said, no, we have a food allergy, she became all sweet and Southern kind. I mean, come on. Now, on another note, food was hot, fresh (because it had custom changes) No Napkins out, you had to ask One soda machine (they had two)- didn't work and had no ice Tables and chairs were filthy. So...the stars are for the awesome consistency of McDonalds food and that's where we're leaving it.
Served me a cold cup of coffee without flinching.

Play place closed even when the restaurant is open. Rude employees and one man actually threw a customer’s cup! Wow. Don’t go here.

I went into McDonald’s on the north end of Hilton head for breakfast. I ordered at the kiosk and only had cash. The kiosk did not print out a ticket so I went to the cashier which they did not have and I waited 10mins for someone to help me. They never even acknowledged that I was standing there: I’m aware that they could have been busy but they were not. Just standing there waiting for the food to come out. It was 2 of them: when I finally got the young ladies attention, she turn around and just dismissed me. I’m a customer. If your busy acknowledge me, I didn’t even really tell her my concern. I loved her my whole life and I missed the people that used to work there. McDonald’s on the north end was great then. I then went to the McDonald’s on the south end and was in and out very quickly. Big time difference. 0 stars for the McDonald’s on the north end of Hilton head. They need to get it together.

I placed my order at the kiosk and selected pay at the counter with cash. Waited for 20 minutes at the register. During that time the manager made an announcement that she didn’t have a cashier and everyone would have to pay by credit card. When she came back to the register she was visibly angry that I had not selected to pay by credit card for my three dollar order at the kiosk. She would not listen as I tried to explain and that I was happy to pay by credit card because it was obviously a concern that she was without a cashier. I understand staffing issues. I was not expecting to receive a really bad attitude for a situation that I did not create.
The manager had been handling money and filling orders while not wearing gloves until her announcement about credit cards. She continue working with food orders without gloves. I realize that she was doing double duty. None of the other employees (only two witnessed) were wearing gloves and both were handling food. Again I understand staffing issues but sanitation and attitude should not be compromised. I will not be returning to this location, as they have ongoing issues. The location on the south end of the island and the one in Bluffton have timely efficient service with employees with great attitudes. I would recommend either of those locations as an alternate. Perhaps McDonald should consider closing in HH location and then have the staff work with other locations which would help everyone. The franchise owner at the HH location should consider all of the reviews as patterns exist.

The man in second window was the worse employee, he was super rude… and the female taking orders was also rude! If you don’t like your job than quit!

As far as McDonald's goes, this one was nice. I had a quick lunch after pickleball. It hit the spot.

The wait was terrible. People in lobby waiting to have order taken during not so busy time.5 different crew members standing waiting on food. No one acknowledged the lobby ppl that were waiting and the kitchen staff was arguing in the back that was heard thru the lobby.. as a former assistant Mgr from years ago.. this would not have been tolerated Or accepted... do better ppl

Went to get breakfast on my lunch break
1. Took too long to answer the speaker
2. All i said at the speaker was I had a mobile order
3. I get to the window and I hear them murmuring about me at the speaker "this the impatient one " "oh well I'm not the one "
Well honey I'm not the 1 , 2 or 3 . Tell your employees if they got bad attitudes or a bad day then stay tf home .
So I tried to go to drive thru and that's wasn't working. I went inside and the there machines were down. The workers there rude. And told me there were out of everything I was trying to order. They said there out of chicken and out of ice cream and out of coffee and even said there out of ice. Several people walked out. And I ended up leaving my self to go to burger King instead.
