I only use drive through. However, this particular location throws their sandwiches together. And just like everyone knows. You will never get the same burger you see in the ad. Mainly because these workers could care less about the service that's provided. And the companies care less than that.

Sat in the drive through waiting for two cars ahead of us. After a short wait the two cars sped out and left. We pulled up to the speaker that asked if we were earning points… After talking to the speaker and not receiving a reply we drove past the windows and did not see one person inside. It was 845pm.

Very slow drive-thru. I've waited many times when no car moves forward, so I have had to leave. It takes almost 30 minutes. The older ladies are OK, but the young girls are remarkably nasty, unpleasant people. Customer service is not taken into consideration here. I no longer go to McD because of this location.

Went in so I can order a filet of fish with onions on it and the girl refused to take my order and walked me out to the kiosk. Where you can't get onions on a filet. She said she'd tell the cooks, but that made my coupon not work. I

SLOW they give a new meaning to the word, fast food. Even went inside, and it was slower than the long line of cars. How to enter into there stupid computer. And then took forever for them to serve. I'm going somewhere else for breakfast, next time.

The most horrible night staff ever. There was some confusion over our drive thru order and I went back to this McDonald's to get the rest of my order. I went inside and was totally ignored by the two employees for at least 5 minutes. Then I was asked if I had ordered at the kiosk and I stated no, I was there for a drive thru issue. The 2 employees again ignored me until the shift manager came back in from smoking. She checked my order and told me they didn't short my order, never asking me if I wanted to place another order. She just walked off. I then asked for the franchise owners number no less than three times and they all ran to the back and hid. Most HORRIBLE fast food experience I have ever had. Avoid at all costs as I have contacted the owner. He too is in hiding, just like his staff. His name is John Palmaccio and he owns all four McDonalds on HHI. I work at a premier resort on the island, and I assure you Mr.Palmaccio, I will do my best to deter EVERY potential patrons to your establishments.

We have came to this McDonalds on every vacation trip for over 3 years. And it has been the same EVERY time- RUDENESS TO THE MAX!!! The worst restaurant we have ever been to. Very slow drive thru and the employee was super rude. When taking our order, the employee repeatedly interrupted and spoke with a blunt tone that gave the impression she was annoyed we were even there. At the pick up window, we asked the employee for some ketchup for 2 large fries. He never spoke a word, turned around and was gone for quite some time and came back with 3 packs. Even at McDonalds, food isn't cheap anymore and customers expect adequate service and food. Can't believe this is tolerated by corporate office leaders.

Laughing at all the bad reviews of this store been coming here for over thirty 30 years and yes things and the time has change.. most days they have no workers because now days no one wants to work.. so if you come here have patience and be respectful of the workers they do have that are trying their best to work to please everyone while doing multiple jobs that would normally take three people, one person is doing it just to please you.. and the purpose of self service is because they are short staff and can’t stand in one place.. if you ever worked a cell phone or computer then trust me self service is a breeze.. and when something isn’t working it’s the company job to fix it not the worker so don’t be rude when they don’t have ice cream or frappes or smoothies most likely they are waiting on a part or someone to come fix it… SO THANK YOU EMPLOYEES FOR EVEN GETTING UP TRYING YOUR BEST AND WORKING UNDER ANY CONDITION THATS THROWN AT YOU…

In my never ending search for friendly fine dining in Hilton Head, I just checked on the Golden Arches - after all they are a big restaurant chain After my last Big Mac served some years ago with cold greasy fries, I finally succumbed, on the way home from a movie, to the need for a very quick and hopefully tasty Big Mac to eat on the way home. So I pulled into the first McDonald’s on the 278 near the Sea Pines Circle. Rather than the drive thru, I was going to enter and experience the full dining experience First surprise and just to show how long its been since I had ever entered one of these temples of tasty treats, I discovered a large screen had replaced humans. I turned out to be more complicated than my trusty iPad and after several attempts I had managed to selected a Big Mac and Large Fries. Payment by credit card was easy. My order was confirmed and I was allocated an order number that I promptly forgot Then I waited and waited and waited. After more than 10 minutes - remember this used to be called fast food - my number was called followed by my order description - Mac and fries. Must be me. And only a very few other people were hanging about waiting for their food, so chances good it was mine! MacMan thrust my bag at me - no greeting, no thank you, no goodbye. As there is just a small Pick Up window instead of the traditional and "oh so out of date” fast food counter with ‘smiling staff?’ menu boards, display and cash registers, it is difficult to see if anyone still ‘works’. By peering around the corner, I was able to count 10 bodies in blue tee shirts. Most were just chatting and standing around Well atleast I had my burger and fries. The burger was still warm and edible, and the fries sort of OK But a Dining experience not worth repeating And now for what it is worth. As one of the founders many years ago of the fast food revolution into London, a number of things we held dear and should still be relevant today were clearly missing from my McDoubtful experience. We served top quality hot food fast made to order and during our peak meal times we could average 40 seconds per customer. Every till had both an order taker/greeter and a runner to pack the order. The front counter was visible from every food station so our team could hear the orders being called and keep up. Equally important then and clearly not to McDonalds, is the total experience. Our cashiers were first and foremost smiling greeters, whose job it was to help our customers make the right choices. In addition this included selling - like reminding dont forget the fries and what are you having to drink with that? It was inoffensive and increased our average ticket sales. Clearly McDonalds is way too big to fail? - and none of this is important. Customer service counts for nothing, no one to greet you, no one to talk you through the menu, no one to thank you and no one to even wish you a nice day, even if they could care less. Roll on AI - that will decide what you are going order, what credit card to charge and see that the door doesnt hit you on the way out.
