Great atmosphere. My seafood cannelloni was good but had to send it back because it was burnt covered with sauce. However, our server, Hunter, took great care to get it right, and he was very busy. Will be back. Thanks Hunter!

Excellent. We were very surprised! We expected highish prices with this being Hilton Head but the quality of the service, the food and the ambience by far exceeded my expectations.
A great night.

We were recommended this restaurant for dinner. Great vibe, excellent servers. They made us feel so welcome. It was my husbands birthday and he really wanted the chicken parm. It wasn’t on the menu, but the Chef was kind enough to make it for him. Tiramisu was to die for. I had the stuffed chicken which was great. They made a penne pasta for my son to accommodate him as well. Great experience and vibe. Definitely coming back.

Excellent food and great service. The pasta was clearly homemade and had great flavor. I got the sausage and mushroom gnocchi and it had a strong earthy flavor, very high quality italian.

Love the sips and bites concept. However, when all 3 entrees are served together (cold and hot) it's difficult to enjoy the wine pairings as the hot food gets cold before you get to that course. And of course, if you eat the hot one first then you miss the actual wine tasting from white to red. Truthfully we,probably won't come back for sips and bites again.
Has to be the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Wait staff was very well attentive and had great suggestions. This will be a great place to take your significant other out for a nice date.

What a fabulous dinner we enjoyed for my birthday. The grilled veal chop we exceptional and cooked to perfection. The heirloom tomatoes in the Caprese salad were so delicious and the raviolis were so light and the sauce with truffles was heavenly! The excellent service and ambience topped off a memorable evening!

So we’ve been wanting to go to this restaurant for many years when we go to Hilton head. We always seem to go to another local Italian restaurant that we like. I’m so glad we finally got to Michael Anthony’s because the food and service was outstanding. We had so many good things. I can’t go into the whole list but just to say please check out my photos and know that everything tasted just as wonderful as they look. They also have a small market there where you can buy pre-packaged foods and take them with you.

Michael Anthony's in Hilton Head stands among the best Italian restaurants I've experienced both in Italy and around the world. The attention to detail is immediately apparent, especially in their handmade pastas, each one a testament to authentic craftsmanship. But the Sardi alla Liguria, a rich combination of pancetta, parmigiano, and pesto—with homemade pasta shells— particularly stood out. The osso buco was exquisite, falling off the bone with tenderness and rich, deep flavors. The veal shank was similarly impressive, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. For dessert, the restaurant’s nod to Italian tradition truly shined with two distinct versions of tiramisu: a classic take and a refreshing lemon tiramisu. Both were a delightful end to an extraordinary meal. Michael Anthony's combines the finest local ingredients with culinary expertise, delivering a dining experience that rivals even the most renowned restaurants in Italy. It truly was a remarkable meal.

Vegetarian options: While the menu might not seem like there are a lot of vegetarian options, the servers and chefs are very accommodating with house vegetarian favorites!
I got a delicious primavera with their house pomodoro. SO GOOD!!!
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating with dietary restrictions. We were able to have both a vegan and a gluten free guest in our party and they had 3 courses with the rest of us! Even dessert!
