Food was overcooked and not very flavorable. Ordered naked (no sauce) wings which were ok as they were a little overcooked and dried out. Then ordered the Thors Hammer (braised beef shank ) which was overcooked where there was no marrow in the bone and the meat was chewy. The person who served our food was rude and did not clear room on the table just put the food down next to the empty appetizer plates. Overall we have been to Nectar for breakfast in Blufton and may go back there however would not go to HHI location for dinner.

Our chicken pot pie soup was at best like warm. I ordered the appetizer crab cake and it was not at all warm. We were pretty disappointed in the quality of food. Our waitress Colby was absolutely personable and polite.

Annual trip to Hilton Head and Nectar. Was surprised to find that they had moved to a new location which we found to be much bigger and better than the old location. Food was great as in the past.

Great menu, lots to choose from. Servers were great. Nice cocktail menu. Definitely will go back.

Good low country food experience. Friendly and food cane out quick. The She crab soup was my favorite! Yum!

The food was absolutely incredible. And we only had side dishes (we wanted to eat light). Each dish was scrumptious. The handmade tomato pie--the crust was delicious as was the filling. The deviled eggs with orange marmalade--delicious. My husband said the crabcake served with salad wonderful. The Brussel sprouts were great. As were the mashed potatoes--they were subtly different and not overburdened. The mac n cheese was fine the only dish that did not wow me. We did not sample the bar offerings but will come back to do so--bourbons look good cocktails interesting. The previous owner was extremely knowledgeable about whiskey, which is how we ended up at this location--we were looking for previous owner whose bar and restaurant were excellent--that's why we took a risk and tried Nectar. The only disappointment was the service. The waitress was very peasant, took our order, but never came back to our table. I would have appreciated a refill on my ice tea, refill on water, and it decided us against dessert/coffee. I will definitely come again. Kudos to the chef--truly delicious food.

Great service, quality food. A wide menu with a varied selection. The restaurant was busy on a Friday evening, with a moderate energy level.

Nope. Do not recommend it. The restaurant was too loud. Staff was rough at best - they needed lessons on being grammatically correct as well as professional. I was worried about the sanitary quality of my food based on the length of the fingernails of my server. Our appetizer (poutine) was too salty. I ordered shrimp and grits main meal - grits were pasty like oatmeal, and the sauce on the shrimp was bright red-orange and sour, like it was bottled buffalo wing sauce. Plus a plate full of grits, only 6 small shrimp. My husband had fried seafood equally mediocre. Really, i can't find anything positive in this place. It was 200% better when it was The Lucky Rooster. So many places to eat on the island - leave thus one alone!

We went today, sat outside with our dog on this cold day. The place was nice and clean however very disappointed with the service. Not sure if understaffed but our server was nowhere to be found. Food was fine but "hot chocolate" could have been hotter.

Was looking forward to this most on our trip and it was the most disappointing meal. Very mediocre food, unfriendly service. Weird vibe and elevator music. Very very over-hyped.

I normally love Nectar...HHI and Bluffton. My service at front of house was poor but wouldnt have written a poor review just for that.
Ordered carryout, $48 Ribeye that was supposed to be 12oz...it wasn't. Only 1/2" thick, cooked well done, not medium as requested. It was tough and 1/3 fat/grizzle. It was placed i to a container that was too small (they have larger) and the steak was on top of my mashed potatoes which made them watered down and liquidy. The taste and qaulity was more like a steak you would get for 12.95 at a diner not at this level restaurant and not for $48. It was truly TERRIBLE. As it was carryout, it really didn't make sense to send it back...and no time to do anything different. I threw nearly all of it out. Nectar HHI....this is not the level of service or food quality expected from your history and your prices.

Maybe we came on an off day. Nothing to write home about. However the atmosphere was great. The crab dip was good. Would I visit again maybe not. 110 for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was cold as well so that’s that

Came for breakfast. Loved our server but the food was so bad. Crazy expensive as well as bitter, greasy, and flavorless. The chicken was rubbery. Left hungry and dissapointed

My husband and I took a day trip to Hilton Head and we came here for breakfast on our way back home and I will visit Hilton head again but won’t be coming back here. We waited some time just for our food to come out cold. And the taste of the food overall was not great. I could have taken my $53 somewhere else.
