Excellent flavors, came back twice it’s that good. I recommend getting the liquor flavored ice cream and if you see anything you like trying it as they seem to rotate daily. The baked goods are good as well. Cute shop pup as well!

Just left Nonna Marie's. 87 degrees out side. Owner walked in flipped the sign on about 15 till 5. We waited in the car until 5 got to the door which was still locked, waited 10 minutes outside the door in clear view of two employees inside. I finally knocked on the windows to ask if they were going to open.. The owner came to the door and said it would be 15 minutes before they were ready to open. We understand that there could be delays in opening but with the temprrture as hot as it is she could have let us come in the cool store until she was ready. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Love stopping here when on the island.

Gelato is fantastic! Coffee is amazing (beignets pair well)! Customer service is even better. Will be at the top of our list for dessert when we come back to Hilton Head!

Years ago we stumbled upon this gelato store and loved it. It was then sold and is now Nonna Marie’s. We had to stop to see if it was still what we remembered and sadly, it was not. Note that prices are not shown anywhere and it isn’t until you pay that you realize how expensive it is. We ordered a medium size banana pudding in a cup and the medium size banana / coconut on a flavored cone and the price was $27! The flavors were more on the mild side and it had more of an ice cream consistency, not the smooth and creamy gelato consistency that I expected. For the price I was not wowed. That said, the interior is decorated super cute and bright and is kept very clean.

Really, really amazing homemade Gelato options

Hands down one of the best places to go on HHI! Small batch, hand made gelato made with true love for gelato.

This past week I tried the Oranco Chocolate and it was fantastic.

My wife’s favorite is the Honey Lavender. She craves it! She looks forward to getting it every year! But the flavors do change frequently so keep that in mind.

I want to give a special thank you to the owner for making a batch of the Honey Lavender this week!

I actually requested it and I never told my wife! She was so excited to see that it was available! Last year it wasn’t part of the rotation and it wasn’t available the week we were there. Again thank you so much!
