Wonderful experience during Restaurant Week. Food was amazing, best dessert ever! Service was impeccable and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Great Italian restaurant. A must visit when looking for Italian food on the island. Goid variety and the food is always well prepared and the staff are friendly and professional.

Brought my husband here for his birthday and the clams are definitely the frozen vacuum sealed clams you can buy in the store for 4$. Being by the ocean we were expecting fresh little neck clams. The arugula salad was great but had way too much dressing, so it got soggy fast. Rack of lamb was good and the spinach was delicious, mash potatoes came out cold. I got chicken parmesan and it was flavorless. Sauce was very bland, and chicken wasn't crispy at all. I end up taking home and throwing it away.

2 pasta dishes we had with identical sauces with undercooked onions. Not much better than neighborhood pedestrian pizza place now……without the checkered tablecloths!

We had an amazing dinner last night. Gnocchi was fantastic as was the spaghetti with clams and crab. But the absolute highlight was our waiter, Anthony. Anthony was by far the best waiter we have ever had. Personable and upbeat a delight to have met.

Our entire dining experience was exceptional. I ordered the seafood pasta, and every bite was delicious. The staff is welcoming and attentive. With so many options for dining on Hilton Head Island, I would definitely recommend Nunzio’s.

We had a great experience here! We made a reservation and got right in and seated. The bread and oil they served was great. The service was amazing, our server was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The manager checked in on us several times

We were seated outside on the back patio and it was sooo pleasant. It was a great, mild night and the patio is a great environment in general.

I got the ravioli and it wasn’t my favorite, felt it was a little bland. My husband got the sausage penne and that was really good. We shared the chocolate soufflé cake and it was delicious.

We spend our Christmas in Hilton Head every year. We have a family dinner Christmas Eve before heading out to church. In the past we have chosen Nunzio’s. Not this year. We have been so supportive since they first opened on the island. Now it seems they have gotten too big for their britches. After “speaking” with 2 young women, “Mike” got on the phone only to talk over me and interrupt. Rude, unprofessional trait Mike. Anyway, he told me he could not accommodate us because of the size of our group, told me “I’m missing the point” No Mike your missing the point. I will never return to Nunzio, and I will make sure my locals and newcomers don’t either.
So glad to have read Joe G’s 1 star review! I have a nephew in my dinner party with a red meat allergy. He would not just throw up, he would die. Obviously, Nunzio was irresponsible with Joe’s niece, then on top of that no empathy. Thank you Joe for the warning. Another reason not to patron Nunzio Restaurant!
In response to your response. That is NOT what your staff was communicating to me. As Mike was consistently interrupting me and talking over me, I was trying to communicate with him we were willing to arrive as early as needed. Even 4pm-4:30pm. In fact I requested the earliest time as we will be going to church after dinner. He told me, NO! it didn’t matter how early we came, that I was “missing the point!” Now you are telling me you are only 45% full???
No worries, I called another restaurant after being treated so rudely by your staff. They come highly recommended and were thrilled to help me and my party of 18. I was trying to stay loyal to Nunzio, but that ship has sailed. I will be sure to review this new restaurant after our Christmas Eve meal. They have already beat you with customer service.

We went here for our anniversary. Food was amazing, being Italian it's hard to find good food away from our kitchen, BUT THIS PLACE IS GREAT!
After dinner we sat at the bar and had great conversation with the woman bartender ( sorry her name escapes me)
Would go back again for sure!
