Piatti's is one of our favorite Italian Restaurants to visit when we are on the Island. Pasta is made in house as well as their bread, which I should add they do not charge extra for. Their menu and bottled wine is priced fairly. If you are looking for authentic Italian, try Piatti's. You will love the food and the attention you get from the servers.

I have been to Piatti many times and have never been desappointed with the food or service. Probably one of the top two Italian restaurants that I have every eaten in. Last night I enjoyed sea bass and house made fettuccine.

Years ago my husband and I chanced upon Trattoria Divina and had a fantastic dinner there. We returned every year in vacation and were disappointed when it closed after Covid. Imagine how excited we were when we heard of a new place - Piatti - in the same location. And we find out later that it was the same kitchen and service as Divina. Our meal on Monday was fantastic. Veal and pastas. We talked to the staff and told them our only disappointment was that meal we had many years ago was no longer on the menu. Lobster Pot Pie. Brian said if we wanted the Lobster, he would arrange it. So we returned on Wednesday, and there it was, Lobster Pot Pie for 2. And it was as scrumptious as I remembered it. Thank you to everyone at Piatti who gave us a memorable evening.
Learning Everyday
Had a craving for Italian food and decided to try Piatti for the first time. The atmosphere and service were excellent. My wife had Polpette di Carne and I had the Amatriciana Strozzapretti. We thought the Polpette was really very good but the Strozzapretti was absolutely delicious. I also had the Beet salad that was a special that evening, it was wonderful. The food was some of the best Italian food we have ever experienced in Italy or at home in the U.S. and we therefore highly recommend Piatti.

We had the absolute best experience, I’ve dreamed about it all every day since! We did make reservations and I would recommend placing one prior to arriving. From atmosphere to the food and service, everything is top notch and done very respectable. Everything is homemade all of the pastas, sauces, desserts! The chefs they have are outstanding, a 5 star experience in the heart of the low country! We will be back every year for here on out -if not twice per vacation! I couldn’t recommend Piatti enough and can’t wait to see how far this talent will go!
Indoor quiet and cozy atmosphere. No dress code appreciated as we forgot our fancy attire. Food is excellent 10/10, by far our best experience coming to Hilton head
