Difficult to locate. Very busy when we finally found it. Just walked around and enjoyed the location which is amazing. Parking is only 3 spots which were taken.

Their prices were surprisingly good for a bar right on the beach/ at the pool. We had the burger and grilled fish sandwich - both were great and better than you'd expect for pool food. Food came out very quickly considering how crowded they were, and the staff was really kind. I would absolutely recommend it!

The best bar on the beach. We have visited the area several times and stopping here is a must. The pain killer is my favorite and the lava flow is the kids. They have a large selection of drinks with fresh fruit. The kids always enjoy the burgers, chicken tenders and fries. It gets busy but the staff work hard to make sure you have a great experience.

I wanted to like this place. Not even good bar food. Drinks and food are way over priced. First time. Last time. Better options nearby. Also if you are a germo phobe, then this is not the most sanitary place for you.

Best piña coladas and right on the beach! Bartenders are always friendly. There are dedicated parking spots in the nearby garage if you're driving

Look, this is a pool bar. They are not supposed to look like the inside of a Ritz-Carlton they are supposed to be outdoor lively places with great staff. That's what this place is. Limited menu, but good food, open air, great drinks, beautiful location, and friendly staff. What else could you want. Walk up from the beach, ride your bikes down from the street, or walk over from the shopping center. Don't care how you get there. Just get there. You won't be sorry.

Well, I'd heard nothing but great things about PBJ's frozen drinks and grouper sandwiches. Today, 5 of us headed over only to learn the cook, who works a second job at another local restaurant, left at 2 pm for Val Day rush, so kitchen was closed! So close to that grouper, and yet so far! We decided on a cocktail each before heading out. I had a virgin pina colada, which was excellent, and priced reasonably (see my other mocktail experience at Santa Fe Cafe). Friends had Pain Killers (reg and frozen) and a Bahama Mama. I should have had a Lava Flow--table next to us had those and they looked amazing. I'll have to come back--for grouper and more drinks! The bar was hopping, sun shining, though a bit chilly at 60°.

Had two drinks today a frozen strawberry daiquiri and a Bahama mama. Drinks were horrible no flavor, minimal alcohol. the worst part is that I paid 30 bucks for them. I could have gone to 7 11 and got a slurpee for 4 bucks. I wouldn't recommend it.

Such a fun environment and the drinks were so fresh!! The strawberry daiquiri was made with fresh strawberry purée made right in front of us! Delicious! Can't wait to go back!

The onion rings were excellent. The fries weren't as good as in the past. We asked for them 'well done', but they were not. It's an outdoor pool bar beside the ocean, what more could you want? The service is normally great, but I think one of the guys was having an 'off' day. When we sat down, we were not even acknowledged. One guy was working. The other one was just standing around. I wasn't even sure he was even on duty. After a few minutes, I called out and asked if we could place an order. He didn't seem incredibly thrilled. We ordered well done fries and a couple of beers. The beer was cold, but the fries were a bit undercooked. When we re-ordered, we made sure to catch the attention of the other guy. No, I did not get names. Others seems to be immediately greeted. Maybe he just didn't like the color green. We were a little disappointed as we make sure to go to Poolbar Jim's whenever we are in Hilton Head. We also make a point of recommending it to others who go visit. we will go again, but will be sure to capture the attention of the guy who treated us so well.
