Placed an order at 7:05pm and at 7:40 our order was canceled with no explanation and we are not sure we have gotten a credit. Never have encountered such an event. Don't ever order from this place using Door Dash or other places.

Don't waste your money. We ordered meals for 7 of us plus 3 apps. The potato skins were hard and flavorless, the fish tacos were cold, and the chicken strips were so skinny and over cooked they didn't even look like meat anymore. They also did not give us the proper meals. They gave us a chicken sandwich instead of a second fish taco and they gave us a corned beef sandwich instead of a Ruben. After tasting the rest of the food we decided it wasn't worth calling the restaurant to correct the error- it wasn't worth wasting the gas to drive back to the restaurant for our proper meals. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area and there is no reason to ever order here. Save yourself the disappointment.

A great place to eat. From being greeted by the owner, Chip, to having a delicious meal, the total experience was wonderful. The food and service was outstanding. Add in the fact, that they have live music many nights only adds to making this one of our new favorite restaurants.

When you walk in the door the first impression is that you are in a really nice place. On a Monday night, the dining room was slow but the bar, in a separate area was lively. I ordered the fish and chips which is one of my favorite entries. The size of the cod was excellent, but the coating need some help. Having eaten this dish extensively in Ireland and Scotland, I feel I can be a competent judge of the authentic thing. The coating was a bit overcooked but the filets were just right. The coating did not have that nice crunch and the beer batter lacked flavor. Malt vinegar was not offered. The waffle-cut fries leave much to be desired. Freshly cut potatoes with the typically cut french style would have been much better. My companion had the chicken pot pie which she said was very good and a nice size portion. Our server, Sharwayne was very good.

Pam is the best waitress we have ever had anytime anywhere. We dined here three sequential nights. Pam will take very good care of you.

Let me first say that we arrived just after noon so maybe they were not really ready for Corned Beef and Cabbage and all the fixings. But based on this eperience I shall not return. There was a large amount of food but the potatoes were not completely cooked, the cabbage, carrot and onions were cooked but cold. The corned beef was thinly sliced, salty and very dry. I am Irish I was hoping for a better outcome. They did strive to give the Irish experience but not with food, just music,

Terrible service, not to mention the owner shoved my friend for no reason lol

Hungry for fish and chips and having heard nice comments about the recently opened North End Pour House, we decided to give it a try. The attractive pub was packed with folks learning “***** dancing and those waiting at the bar for trivia to begin. We both ordered a Guinness and fish and chips. The beer came quickly. After ordering food, we waited and waited! When it finally arrived it was a major disappointment. The fish was greasy with gummy breading and spongy waffle fries. One could not blame it on a staff shortage, as there were server running around everywhere. After a long wait for the check, we left….vowing not to return! NB. The cole slaw was good

Four of us came in for dinner and our server could not keep up, maybe not her fault but it was someone’s. Our seafood platters were way over cooked, shriveled up shrimp, rubber scallops, fish was way over done, the vegetables were great! We were never asked how our food was.

We called for reservations for the Monday night lobster dinner and were excited to go back to this restaurant, since we have not had the opportunity to visit since it had changed hands. Shannon was our server and she was quite friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant itself. She did a wonderful job, always knowing when to return to the table to make sure we had what we needed. The entire staff, in fact, were very friendly and seemed to work together well, and were absolutely trained to make sure the customers were happy. Shannon spent some time telling us about the live music hosted there during the week, too. The lobsters were a nice size and were delicious! We also ordered the potato skins, which arrived hot and yummy, and I had a nice sized fresh side salad with my meal. The new owners/management have definitely done a great job keeping the food good, the restaurant itself in great shape (it has always been a lovely place, with nice polished wood tables and bar), and the staff trained and ready to work. We will definitely make the effort to return to the north side of the island when we visit again so that we can renew our relationship with this restaurant.

Servers were welcoming & fast. Our food was delicious & brought out in a timely manner. We had a club with fries & a cheese steak with waffle fries. Food was nice & hot; beer was nice & cold! We ended up taking yummy cheesecake home! We met our friends there, & the atmosphere was lively & fun. We could tell the staff was used to a busy Tuesday night. Everything was very well organized & service was excellent!

We stopped in for Happy Hour and dinner. Carla the bartender was very friendly, she just wasn’t always behind the bar. There were times when we were dry for 15 minutes or more. My wife and I both ordered dinner. My wife had the pot pie, which she enjoyed. I had the pot roast and mashed potatoes. A huge chunk of meat, dry and flavorless served in the middle of a serving of mashed potatoes. I got through it by adding salt and cutting it up into cubes and mixing it like it was shepherds pie. I would not be ordering this again. We loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff, we just think there are many other places to try before ever coming back. Also, the music seemed like it was geared to the staff and NOT the clientele. Bad choice of music.

Food and presentation were great in this cozy restaurant. I had the Half and half which is a piece of fried fish and 6 fried shrimp. The batter was very light and crispy. I believe the cocktail sauce was made fresh. The cole slaw was also tasty. Save room for dessert as they are known for their cheesecake. My husband loves key lime pie and he said that was good as well.

We were in last night for Prime Rib Night - tough meat and so much fat!!!! Ugh!! Bobby Rieder and quarter are great.

We stumbled into this place as all other eateries nearby were closed. We had a very nice meal and there was live music with a very talented band. We really enjoyed our night.
