Got a simple twist custard, and it was delicious - so smooth and creamy. Hits the spot on a hot Carolina day.
There's also a great assortment of different custards, Italian ice, etc. for whatever floats your boat. The only drawback is that the prices for items here are, in my opinion, a little steep. But I suppose that's to be expected when you're in a very 'touristy' area.
We love Ritas!! The best! We go multiple times whenever we're in Hilton Head!
Came in during my yearly vacation to HHI and was served by two wonderful employees Olivia and Ingrid!! They were so sweet and accommodating and even recommended some great choices. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!!!!

Customer service was awful. The teenagers working were very rude. They were taking a selfie while we were trying to order our Italian ice. They acted like we were a huge inconvenience. Awful attitudes. Do not recommend. Not to mention it wasn’t that great for the price.
Staffed by typical teenagers, trying to order seems like an inconvenience to them. Rather pricy for what you get. Cones are an up charge, $11+ for a single vanilla custard cone, there’s better values in the same plaza. I’d like to know why if you order at the main Riats it’s $11+ but if you order the same thing from the Rita’s kiosk it’s only $8.
I had a simple strawberry and vanilla scoops. That was the best icescream I have had in a while. I had others from nearby shops, it wasn't as good. Sometimes the less the better
