The food was very good. The service was great too! The menu was simple, but it had plenty of choices. The prices were average, but well worth the visit!!!

Don't waste your time and money.When I first placed an order I was told they were out of that item, so I asked for more time to check the menu. Thenni ordered another item and was told they were out...I went with a black and blue burger that was dry and crumbly. My husband ordered the filet mignon which was over cooked, dry and pre cut, since they don't serve with steak knives.The server should have told us at the start which items they were out of and at least after my first request was out, I should've been told what else they were out of. Very pricey restaurant.

Was there with friends ,, we go two three times during Feb , a couple weeks ago we had grouper fingers and they were delicious as in the past ,,, went last night with same friends and ordered grouper fingers ,,, they were terrible,, they were about half the size of my pinky and I bit into the first one and thought it was chicken ,, asked the waiter he said try to cut back and do different things ,,, that’s too bad ,, tradition is to go our last night in HHI ,, but not this year ,, starting a new tradition!!!!!

We’re not locals so when we got here we didn’t know where to go to get great food. We choose Rockfish because of location. I started off with the crab cake (which was great!!!). My husband had the onion rings. We then ordered the entrees. Along with the entrees came a huge palmetto bug (cockroach!!!!) crawling under the table!!!!! At that point I lost my appetite!!!!! I tried a little bit of the pasta before I saw the bug, it wasn’t what I thought it would be but, not too bad. They didn’t try to rectify the situation in any manner. The bartender just came and killed the bug and brushed it off by saying “it’s just a water bug” which may be true but, it should not be IN the restaurant crawling under the dinner tables with your guest!!!! I still ended up paying the bill and I left the waitress a nice tip because she still did a WONDERFUL job. I will NEVER go back!!!!!
My family enjoyed a nice dinner here. It was a bit pricey but worth it. We were immediately seated, our server was very pleasant and accurate. The food was delicious from the grouper and pasta to the steak, and the chocolate lava and pecan pie. We will definitely be back.

We visited in the off-season, so the place was dead quiet and short-staffed. That said, the bartender did a wonderful job managing both bar and table customers. I had the filet, my son had the seafood pasta, and we shared their ice cream cookie for dessert. I would hands down return here again!

Seemed to be a local hang out. Bartender was friendly and bad great drinks. Bar area was loud. Made dinner reservations so had dinner in dining area was quiet. Nice place to eat no need to dress up.
