Every time we vaca on Hilton Head Island we always put Ruby Lee's on our "go to" list for dinner and entertainment. We love the down home Southern dinner lounge with a mom & pop feel. The food is delicious, made to order, the service is good and the waitresses are lots of fun with great genuine personalities! We had a great time and the small band was amazing too! They'll see us again on our next visit probably in February 2026 and perhaps in the Fall too!...
The food was simply amazing!! We had to go back and compliment the chef. I haven't had fried chicken like that since my Mom passed (don't tell my wife). The veggies and mac and cheese were also to die for. In addition the band was fantastic! Most everyone was on the dance floor during/after dinner and a great time was had by all. On my list for all return visits.
Food was decent, but I thought it was better last year. Perhaps the cooks changed. My green beans tasted like they were out of the can and seasoned with too much pepper. My yams were not cooked throughly. The sauce with the salmon was too salty. Waitress was not friendly. No rapport. Price is a good value.
