The Catfish was really great! Ivan was a really great young server. He messed up but it's how he recovered that made a difference for us. Taking accountability in this world is important and being kind to others makes a world of difference. We need more hard working young people like him in the world. The world needs kindness.We only gave the atmosphere a 3 but attentiveness to cleanliness was very well done by everyone.

Dined outside on the patio at the end of the second week of September on Friday evening. Weather was perfect and the live music was perfect. The best Hilton head T-shirts my family found were in the gift shop across from the restaurant UPSTAIRS…. Parking is extremely limited so please carpool or maybe even Uber right to the front door. Please as a courtesy to everybody that wants to dine here—don’t take separate cars if you don’t have to… great fried flounder and hushpuppies

Skull Creek Boathouse has been a staple in my HHI vacations for years. My husband and I come here for the view, drinks and of course, seafood. We usually sit outside at the bar because the wait is significantly shorter than getting a table inside. We started off with drinks and the Boathouse Sampler (which was excellent) and each got the Broiled Captain’s Catch for our entrees. Had another round of drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere of the outside bar on a busy evening!

We never miss stopping by when we are on the island! Outdoor, water view, occasional gator or manatee, live music.

They said a 90 minute wait for outside but it wasn’t that long; enough time to get a drink and appetizer. They flip the tables fast! We got the ahi bowl, Cajun pasta (which had great flavor but it was not spicy) one comment.. they would not take our American Express gift card…. Said they have had charge backs on them before…. Said they don’t do gift cards.
