They don't take dinner reservations which can result in a long wait. Never again! Talked to others waiting in line - their views were when a restaurant is making a lot of money , they don't bother with reservations.

If you like to spend $$$ on wine, or $16 cocktails and don't mind it being served to you in worn out old plastic cup this is your place. Also our food order was screwed up and 4 people at the table finished their meal by the time the other 3 people at the table were served. Poor service and attitude

The food and the service was excellent. Was my great-granddaughters first trip to the island and I must say she loved the hush puppies! We travel to the island every year. We will differently return to Skull Creek Dockside.Kid-friendliness: Was our great-granddaughters 1st trip to the island. They brought a high chair for her and she’s a real fan of the hush puppies!

We were on our way home from Hilton Head and decided to stop for lunch before we left. This was a great place to eat. The service from Maggie was awesome and the food was amazing. I would go back to Hilton Head just to go back here. It was a beautiful place and the view was amazing.

Amazing view for a dinner that couldn't feel more South Carolina. This is a really popular place and for good reason. If you have a small party, it is definitely worth just taking the high tables in the bar on the backside of the restaurant, if you wait for a table, you will likely have a hefty waiting time. We were able to snag a bar seat that faced the great few and I'd 100% recommend. Our waitress was quick, but not the friendliest. She was monotone and rehearsed, but again we came for the view and a good dinner. I had grilled fish with a side of sweet potato and cauliflower, which was delicious. The fish was perfect and the sweet potato hit the spot. We overheard some nearby tables and I thought it was a tourist restaurant, but it seems like locals still come to enjoy too. HUGE parking lot and yet it was almost full. Kind of reminds me of The Salty Dog vibe. Mainly fried southern food and seafood.

Not entirely impressed with the taste of the food. Bides great but my shrimp were way overcooked and crab cake undercooked.. all in all a good experience but the food itself for the price was sub par.

We were able to make it at sunset and it was stunning. We were planning to go to the restaurant next door but we accidentally came into this one. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. They are not a nut free restaurant. They fry pecans as the same fryer as they fry other food. During the sunset, watch out for the mosquitoes. They will feast on you!
