This spot is legit. I walked in thinking I’d grab something simple. You know, responsible adult behavior. That lasted about 12 seconds.

I ended up with:

A bacon, egg, and cheese croissant that was so good it felt illegal. The croissant had that perfect crisp outer shell, soft buttery interior, bacon cooked right, eggs fluffy, cheese melted like it understood its purpose in life. For anybody else… The portion would even be shareable!

French toast that tasted like someone actually cares about French toast. Not just “dip it and flip it.” This was rich, golden, slightly caramelized, the kind that makes you stop talking mid-sentence.

And the avocado toast? Not an afterthought. Balanced. Fresh. Real flavor. Not just smashed green paste on bread… had a fried egg and a type of breakfast salad… Incredible!

Everything tasted intentional. Like people back there are proud of what they’re putting out.

Five stars. Easy.

Sprout, Mama, Breads, and Brews is the kind of place you go once and immediately start plotting your return. And honestly, if you’re anywhere near it and you skip it… that’s on you.

First time here although my wife has done takeout multiple times. The food is 3 stars. Nothing exceptional. I got the Bumstead and the tomato soup (soup of the day) and my wife got the cheesesteak. Our sandwiches were OK but I felt we could get them anywhere. I’ve had better on the island. The soup tasted like I was eating marinara sauce. Which is fine. My problem is that we had to go to the counter to order and someone brought our food, but other than that there wasn’t any service. I had to get my own glass and ice from the bucket for my can of soda from the fridge. No one stopped by our table and asked how our meal was. If they had I would have commented on the soup. Instead they were setting up for the live music and rearranging tables around us while we ate. At one point we were asked to slide over a bit. Not an enjoyable lunch environment. My ratings based on the food and ignores the cost. However, I will note it is pricey. We had the two sandwiches, one cup of soup, one can of soda, and a cookie and it was almost $70 (yes we tipped when we ordered and paid for the counter service). For average lunch food, there are other places I’d recommend. I will say, some of the pastries looked tasty so I might go back and try those. I am a sucker for chocolate croissants.

My first time here. I will be back.

I used to enjoy this same porch when it was Signey's Heaven Bound Bakery. Sprout Momma's is just filling her shoes and our tummies well. 🩵🩵🌻🩵

Food was delicious, and I’m very picky about brunch!! Got the fried chicken with egg and biscuit and tasted phenomenal, top 5, would so recommend, and came with the creamiest grits you’ve had, recommended by the cashier, who was right! Love a good in-house rec. Also atmosphere on the porch is so relaxing for a sunny weekend morning. Baked goods looked good, will be back to try them

Only bought bread to take home. Once home I realized it was not fresh. 2 days later it molded! At $11 a bread that's not acceptable!

The single most unwelcoming and unfriendly place we visited during our stay! Not to mention some of the pastries were clearly not fresh (hard and chewy)! We decided not to order anything else! The person was so pathetically rude and angry it was sad to see!

We were made to feel like we were intruding!!! Will never return and let out other traveling partners know.

Paid $30 for Ms Kim's salad with grilled chicken for take out. Get back to work to eat it for lunch and notice it has no salad dressing. $30 for a salad with grilled chicken is bad enough but, to leave off the dressing makes it a bit worse. The salad looks great but would have been better with dressing. The saving grace on the price is that it is large enough to split between 2 lunches. It would be nice if they offered a smaller portion for a better price. I guess I can eat it tomorrow after I grab salad dressing from home.....

Fantastic place…wish we’d found it earlier in our Hilton Head trip.

Great spot for a casual breakfast. The bread/pastries are top notch with plenty of flavor. I had an egg, bacon sandwich on Sourdough and it was perfect.
