Another trip to Hilton Head in the books and another visit to the Sunset Grille. What great service and fantastic food! This place is a must for us every trip!

We were so excited to spend our Anniversary dinner here...unfortunately, it was a disaster!! My husband ordered the special Mahi with scallops and it arrived with scallops that were soooo overcooked and black, ( not blackened, just a black char from being overcooked!!) Then, they brought out scallops that were completely undercooked and raw & cold in the middle. We then decided not to get another improperly cooked scallops and asked for the check. When my husband asked why we were charged for the partial dish, the waiter grabbed the check in a very aggressive manor and walked away. We were so disappointed and unfortunately treated in that manner that we will never come back here again.

We all got their soup special. Yummy! Three of us got their filet. It is absolutely delicious!!! Cooked to order! You cannot get a better beef filet than at Sunset Grill! The fourth person got the beef short ribs. She loved them! My husband and I love Sunset Grill. We have always had a wonderful dinner! We were so happy that our friends had a wonderful first experience! I’m sure they will go back! You can’t go wrong with the food, service, and view!

I was in HILTON HEAD checking the process of a new build - and visited the SUNSET GRILL . turning onto the road ''RV PARK' , seeing all the majestic motor homes - then a picturesque marina - and onto the restaurant, on the second floor. the hostess and wait staff could not have been nicer. I had a salmon dinner , with grits ( my first ) it was wonderful. the setting is beautiful, overlooking the waterway , the marina . it was a relaxing and invigorating experience . did I mention the views ? ~ JDS/CT OCT 2024

What a wonderful spot, and a great place to eat. Truly a hidden gem. We had Sunday brunch, and everything about was excellent. I had a special that consisted of braised short ribs, cheddar cheese grits, and poached egg. Best grits ever. My wife had the shrimp and crab cake Benedict - she loved it. The stass is friendly and efficient. And the view is exceptional. Can't wait to go back for a dinner. Has a small capacity, so a reservation is a must.

Went for a Sunday dinner. My wife had the chopped blue cheese salad and the short ribs which were cooked to perfection. I had the Cajun fried oysters and the brined pork loin in an apricot chutney that was tender and absolutely delicious. Great service and what a perfect location for a sunset.

Kathy the server needs to leave her political beliefs at home. I felt uncomfortable that she wore Trump wear while serving. The dining table is not the place for advertising your love of a specific politician. Food was mediocre at best for the prices advertised.

The food and service were fantastic and I'm sure the views are stunning. Unfortunately, it was storming when we were there. So we do plan to go back and are looking forward to another great meal and hopefully be able to see a beautiful sunset.

Great place for Sunday Brunch. Best shrimp and grits I have had. Carrot cake can't be beat.
