Jimmy our waiter was excellent. He was very personable and helpful to us to; and kept the meal moving at a comfortable pace. The shrimp and grits were excellent! The Cobb Salad alone is worth returning for. I would certainly come back!

This was bad overall. Service was great and the place looked nice, but the quality of the food was the worst I have had on the island and the price was among the steepest! Very nice staff, but that didn't make up for the ridiculously overpriced, sub-par food. Disappointed...

Food quality left something to be desired for how expensive it was. Ordered items were forgotten, but removed from the bill and service was slow.

Food is extremely over priced for the quality. Ordered the carb cakes- so much salt and tasted like a can of tuna fish made into a patty served on a bed of who knows what. Ordered the NY strip med rare- steak tasted like it had been cooked days ago and sat in the cooler. Was over cooked and flavors were honestly just gross. Couldn't eat more than one bite. My husband ordered pasta with scallops on it. Again, there was so much salt he couldn't even eat it. Course salt on everything. We had one bit of crab cakes, one bite of steak, and maybe two bites of his pasta dish and waitress never acknowledged we sent pretty much the entire meal back on all dishes. Very disappointing, especially for a $200 meal.

Excellent SheCrab soup. The rest was ok - not great. My guest had to send back her meal as it was salted beyond acceptable. She has never done that. The server did remove it from the charge and delivered a SheCrab soup which was one of the best we've had.

We had an excellent first visit to The Carolina Room. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the setting and our service was superb.

We sat for 2 hrs unnecessarily. That's annoying when you are the only ppl in the restaurant

Food took over 50 minutes and we didn't get a server to bring us bread without finding a manager. Steak dinner was way over cooked when it did come out. However they did remove the one charge after sending the filet dinner back.

Amazing service. Me and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it could not have been better.

Lovely staff. They were slammed with a big event in the ballroom. Salmon cooked perfectly. Brussel sprouts noteworthy! Pass on the flatbread!

We came to this restaurant because we saw on the HHI Foodies site that it had a great breakfast buffet, and boy were the right.

It's in the Port Royal Westin, so if you use GPS, don't put the restaurant name or you will wind up at the back end near the delivery entrance.

Starting with our server Randy and his lovely accent, we enjoyed delicious hot coffee and juice before we checked out the buffet offerings.

Eggs benedict with corned beef hash patties, scrambled eggs, thick link sausage, bacon, grits, and a smoked salmon bowl with capers, pickled red onions, and grape tomatoes.

Oatmeal bar with fresh fruit and spices.

Bagels with a conveyor toaster and schmear.

A honey station that had an actual honeycomb you could cut from. Never saw that before!

Fresh smoothies and juice, which was cucumber, celery, and cilantro, and it was so refreshing!

But best of all was meeting Amarie at her omelet station which also provided eggs any way you want them. She was so welcoming and friendly and I couldn't help but hug her when we left.

A rambunctious, rude, and chaotic “bachelor party” made my nice dinner a terrible experience. Terrible behavior by a group made it impossible to enjoy for the rest of us. Some of which the screaming, racial slurs and cursing behind a curtain. The managers tried to make it better by giving free breakfast, after pay for a 56$ filet o didn't eat.

The baked oysters were plated beautifully and tasted quite nice. The cauliflower bisque was absolutely delicious! The half portion of tuna poke was filling & good. Ask for and get the peach sherbet- wonderful flavor!

The restaurant only had about 4 other couples dining in at the time, but the food took forever to receive. The server was nice and apologetic but our anniversary dinner wasn't that great. The food itself definitely wasn't worth the $200 spent as the quality and presentation wasn't anything special.

waiter Luke was amazing! in manner & timeliness... also, best scallops I've had in a couple years and very nice ambience, though small children were disruptive.... Just absolutely delicious food ! Dr Brown Charlotte, NC
