I ate at the Lucky Rooster 8 years ago and it was one of my favorite restaurants in the south. This was my first time back. We ate there in a Saturday night. The menu had good variety of items but more abbreviated than I remembered. The food and presentation were excellent. I had the shrimp and scallops (4 medium local shrimp, 2 scallops) and my husband had the pork chop. For the price $40 (especially in comparison to other restaurants the days prior) I felt the amount of seafood...
The Lucky Burger was outrageously delicious, and my husband really enjoyed the lamb meatloaf. Pear salad was delicious also. Our server was great, very attentive, and a joy to chat with! Wonderful dinner for our last night in Hilton Head. Will be back on our next trip to HH.
Michael was an awesome server, food and atmosphere were great. Peaceful. Michael was knowledgeable and informed about the menu, prompt and checked on us the perfect amount. Top 3 menus we have tried in HHI… so far. We will be back for sure!
