Our first time at the cafe! Will definitely be back soon! Loved the food, our server with personality and the scallop dinner was delicious! Very busy and yet quiet. Able to have great conversation over a relaxing evening with a friend!

OpenTable worked well. Restaurant called to confirm and very nicely verified my special request. Our 5:15 reservation entitled us to deals on cocktails and starters. Our main server was Jenn. Top notch and well supported by other staff. Our pasta and seafood dishes were excellent, the shared salad was split in the kitchen and beautifully presented to our table. We finished with a shared Lemoncello Tiramisu that was perfect. We were treated as well as the well known regulars were. They seem to do a brisk takeaway business as well. 5 stars all the way!.
We ordered from their small plates menu. Meatballs with Pomodori sauce, arancini, house made pane with cheese and dipping sauce plus their desert sampler with specialty house Italian coffee. It was all very well prepared and served. All in all, a delicious and delightful dining experience. A cozy place you must try.

Our first visit to the immensely popular Market Cafe. We will return. Be sure to have a reservation. Excellent Italian wine selections. Gio was a knowledgeable server. Menu selections excellent and entrees very good. Be sure to hear the daily specials. This is a lively place in a market setting.

We returned tonight and brought friends. My husband’s meal was inedible. We were so embarrassed. it was supposed to be low country and was glorified macaroni and cheese. The manager came and made a big deal that she excluded his meal from the bill. We got home and found she took $3.00 off the total. It was a farce. We were so disappointed.

My husband had a Cajun dish that was so creamy he couldn't eat it. We were expecting a red sauce not creamy cheese sauce. We have been here before and loved it. Tonight was not a good night.

Fun date night with just the casual atmosphere we were looking for. The food and service were both outstanding. Highly recommend the baguette which comes toasty warm and well seasoned. Tossed caprese is also an interesting take on a classic dish.

Always a great experience coming here. All the servers treat you like family. Went light tonight- only a calamari (cooked perfectly) and wedge salad (I had forgotten how good that is). The specials tempted me but I had a small appetite.

The spaghetti and meatball special with ricotta in the sauce was very good, as was the crusty, garlicky baguette. The disappointment was the margharita pizza. Here is the menu description: "Mozzarella, blistered cherry tomatoes, dressed arugula, spicy sundried tomato base, topped with a drizzle of basil aioli, and an aged balsamic vinegar." The server described the pizza as having a pomodoro sauce. If the pomodoro sauce was beneath the cheese, it was very scant and undetectable. The balsamic glaze was predominant and overpowering. Only one cherry tomoto. That said, the service was friendly and the setting cozy. We'll try again.
Great service and ambiance. The pastas are perfectly cooked. The portions are great. The bread and salads were wonderful. There was a very nice selection of Italian wines by the glass as well.

We usually go here once a week and have pizza with cauliflower crust - their pizza is the best around. However, we had never had their French Onions Soup and we tried it last night - OUTSTANDING. My husband and I both love French Onion Soup and it was a cold night and perfect for trying. We recommend on your next trip there that you indulge! And if you haven't been to the Market Cafe', you are missing out. Staff is fantastic making service extraordinary.

Always a great experience at the Cafe. Service is awesome...our server Jen and host Casey make sure everything is perfect. Food and drink are exceptional here and such a good value. It's one of our favorites on HHI!!
It was amazing as always. Our reservations were at 5:00pm and the table was to be reseated at 6:45, unfortunately we wanted one more drink. But to be fair restaurants have to turn their tables so we totally understood. Love the Cafe.

My daughter and I had an excellent dining experience at The Market Café at Michael Anthony's. We were first time guests and were well taken care of. Sweet potato fries app and caprese salad are delicious. Gluten free pizza and four cheese pasta are both good as well. Panna cotta with fruit was also yummy. Our server was wonderful, and one of the managers was attentive to us, too. We would definitely return!
