Incredible experience. My wife came here 30 years ago as a kid... I thought it'd be fine but it truly was magical. Top tier wait staff. Best scallops I've ever had. Dolphins were jumping out of the water during dinner. The gals went and got their t shirts after while me and my son watched the water. And grandpa covered the check. Living the the dream.

Not only a Hilton Head staple, but a family tradition. A cut above bar food with many specialties and the best fries. They are extremely competent dealing with food allergies.

If you're considering a visit to this restaurant, I’d have to say it’s an overrated Red Lobster at best. Honestly, it has all the charm of a tourist trap. The only standout was the hushpuppies, which were delicious, but that’s where the positives ended.

The shrimp and grits? Cold and lacking flavor. And the brisket pot pie was a complete disappointment; the gravy was greasy, and the brisket tasted like it came from a can. As for the shrimp po' boy, the shrimp were poorly cleaned, leaving the unpleasant remnants of the poop shoot intact.

Don't even get me started on the piña coladas—$14 each for a drink that didn’t deliver! If I were you, I’d take my hard-earned money to Fish Camp or Hudson any day over this place. Save yourself from the letdown and choose somewhere else!

Server was attentive and pleasant, food just okay, atmosphere pleasant but noisy. However sad to hear some employees talking about employee who had been there for five years being fired without reason. Caused a bit of uncertainty about their own employment. In an era where good employees are hard to come by, this makes you wonder about the motivation of an employer who doesn’t value his employees. Hard to support such an establishment.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent dining. Hamburger was great, outdoor dining - can't beat the views. Food was fast, and service was very friendly. Ate at 5pm in September, no waiting.

1000 stars for staff dedication to continue service even during a rainstorm. The food, especially the oyster Rockefeller was amazing. The atmosphere was okay, the chairs are a bit small and brittle and the view is obstructed by boats but the general vibe is nice for an island spot.

Large outside bar with live music and an amazing marina view in the Sea Pines area!!

Salt Dog is a must-visit if you’re in Hilton Head & Sea Pines, but skip the café if you can; the food isn’t great. Drinks are good, and there’s nice live music, but be aware there were cockroaches everywhere on the docks.
