Been coming 15 years. We come twice a week when we visit the island. It has been amazing every year til this year. Seems like there has been a turn over in the crew. We came at 2pm and they temporarily close at 3. Pro’s: fries and Cole slaw were the best they’ve ever been. Scallops were very delicious and flavorful! My son got a shrimp sandwich was amazing! Con: Fish was so bad I didn’t eat half of it. Hush puppies were decent. Crab cakes were an embarrassment and...
Apparently this is where the locals go, and I can see why. The building is small, not well advertised, and barely even knew it was a restaurant....BUT.....the food was absolutely wonderful. Its small inside so it doesn't seat that many, but theres seating outside as well. Worth the visit!
Sometimes when there is (always a) line, that's a good thing. It's mean the food is dang good. We had a shrimp poboy and a buffalo shrimp poboy. Oh my... Fresh and succulent shrimp. Crispy and soft buns. Fresh fixings. I will not be convinced there is better shrimp and seafood in Hilton Head. Thanks!
