Got an onion loaf and rack of ribs. They were delicious! Waiter did not check for refills often. Will still come back.

Yes this is a once a year type of visit but a honest review. High top tables in the bar area is not the place to sit! TV sound is off the charts! Had the Caesar salad with blackened chicken, terrible. My wife had more lettuce on her side salad than I did on my entree. Everyone else enjoyed the ribs!
I bought two pounds of pulled pork to go. They put it into a “two pound” plastic container. When I got home, I weighed it and it was only one pound, twelve ounces, including the plastic container. I felt ripped off. They should weigh the containers from time to time for quality control.

Brisket sandwich was tiny and not good. Used to love this place, but something changed. Servings were very small, prices have skyrocketed. Restaurant was almost empty in mid June
Food overpriced for what we got. Onion loaf was not a loaf. Sub par food for the price. This place is a tourist trap
The ribs are bland. Had to rush through my food as I fought off the flies.

As restaurants increase their prices I've started to adjust my ratings, 5 stars is not as easy to get anymore. I'm never going to give 5 stars anymore for just having amazing food. And all those mediocre $20 frozen patty burgers... all getting 1 star...

Had a great lunch at The Smokehouse. Great service, great food. Would highly recommend. There were 8 of us dining so we tried many different foods. All were good.
