Had lunch when we arrived from the airport and settled in. Food wasn’t great, but our expectations weren’t that high. It’s bar food after all. Came back in the evening and I noticed 2 men across the bar vaping. I politely still asked if I could vape and was told “no”. I complied, even though I was still stuck watching other patrons vape. Our hotel Beach House has a strict “no smoking/vaping” policy and even posts a sign on the hotel room door that the only 2 places you can vape are the Tiki Bar and the beach. So they need to get that worked out. Lol
This 5 star review is for a young man named Cain. Cain ran the bike/beach chair shack for the Tiki Hut when I spoke with him Monday morning. He gave me great info and explained the pricing and I told him I’d be back the next morning at 9am. We had been using the pool for the week and wanted to now try the beach. The next morning Cain set up our chairs for us and told us the beach server would be available in 45 minutes. Not seeing anyone after 90 minutes, Cain came over and told us the server had called out sick and he would be back and forth at the shack and as a server…which he never did before. He was fantastic! He was good-natured about the situation, got our orders correct and he was very funny. When we were leaving the manager walked over to us on the beach and almost seemed sorry about being short-handed, but we told him we had a great beach experience because of Cain and we also made sure we tipped Cain cash directly, so our tip didn’t go to the bar. Thanks so much, Cain! Keep up the great work! Best beach day in a long time! PS: if you’re staying at Beach House and or hitting the tiki bar, bring koozies; the beers get warm fast!!!!

The Tiki Hut was a perfect beach lunch! We were able to walk up right from the water and get great food and drinks. Our food came out so fast and the live music was awesome! Would definitely recommend!

Love this place! Great location, unbelievable live music, and top-notch service. Thanks, Gabby, Haely, Jacob, Todd, Tommy, and all the other hustling team members and musicians!

This is such a a great spot to get some amazing blended cocktails along the beach! We had so much fun hanging out while talking to the staff and other sitting around us. It really got you in that fun, beach vibe there while sipping on a frozen Pina Colada.

The bar itself is very cool, we loved the music and had nice drinks. Unfortunately one server slightly ruined our experience… We didn’t catch his name but he was the man with a top knot, headband and converse shoes on. When we arrived we were trying to work out how we could all fit around 1 table, he wasn’t overly helpful but just kind of watched us. When we asked if he could dry the wet chairs he wordlessly fetched a dirty rag and made a show of wiping them but they were still soaked! Then he left and we assumed he was just the front of house person who seats you. So when his colleague asked if we wanted to order we said yes (she was super lovely). When he returned to ask for our order we explained politely we’d ordered already with his colleague. He then sarcastically snapped at us ‘oh after I sorted everything out for you, thanks guys, I really appreciate it’ and stormed off. We were stunned. We had no idea he was even our server as he never said as much, and we could not believe someone in hospitality would speak to a customer like that! It left us sat there feeling very awkward and shocked. Super disappointing. I imagine he was annoyed he wouldn’t be getting our tip, but we do have a tip for him: don’t be rude to customers!

If you like slow, unfriendly service, come to the Tiki Hut and order a soggy-bun sandwich with a warm side salad. Drinks were overpriced and stingy on the liquor too.

The food and drinks were excellent, but the service is what I came to leave a review for. Some of the best service that I’ve ever had. Food was hot and fresh and on our table less than 5 min after we ordered. Anything I asked for was brought to me immediately and the drinks were on my table in less than 2 minutes after ordering.

We travelled from another state to visit this TiKi Bar after reading a review of the top ten tiki bars in the country. The expectation fell extremely short in several key areas.
1) Tiki Style (1\5) Besides being located beach-front, the only relevant tiki vibe was the ‘palapa-bamboo hut” style of the actual building. There not any TiKi masks, statues, or any other identifying “Tiki” visuals.
2) Live Music (5/5)-Talented musicians all day.
3) Food-(2/5)-After we ordered food and drinks for hours, we concluded that most of the dishes were either stale tasting or just plain ok (eat it if you are starving). If you like food similar to concession stand food, then you will be ok. However, if you enjoy higher quality food served fresh, this is not a place for you to dine.
4) Drinks (3/5) The best on the menu was any beer. If you enjoy overly sweet tropical style mixed drinks, the drinks are fine.
5) Service Wait Staff {5/5) Once the wait staff realized you were waiting to order, they did a great job.
6) Bartenders (3/5) Perhaps it was a bad day for the two bartenders, but sometimes, we had to really attempt to get their attention. Generally, they were ok.
7) Staff Wear (2\5) The T shirts were not contributing to a “tropical or Polynesian” atmosphere synonymous with “Tiki” such as aloha, tropical, Polynesia, Beach prints or attire.
Overall: The beach front palm style building is a great start to meet the standards of true TIKI, but the general vibe was diametrically different than expected.

The drinks are decent
The service is fantastic
The music is great
The food is literally so horrid I wouldn’t even punish my dog with it. Save yourself the misery and only come here for drinks and a vibe.

Or to punish that friend who ruined your trip with the worst piece of chewy fish you’ve ever seen.

The drinks were fantastic and the service was quick! There was a great band playing which made the atmosphere fun.

Super fun and convenient for anyone staying at Beach House, but equally an obvious draw for non-guests of the hotel. Busy from morning to night, great food, cocktails and lovely atmosphere with near constant live music that was accommodated rain or shine. Highly recommend

I've never had such a weak mai tai... only to be outdone by the weakest pina colada I've encountered. Impotent tropical cocktails. Even with the floater.

Cool place to hang out, have a cool drink, and enjoy some live music next to the beach.

They offer a good selection of frozen drinks, most are standard with what you would expect at the beach (Miami Vice, lava flow, pina colada, daiquiris). They also have a bunch of other cocktail offerings, pictured is a maitai.

If you sit down for table service, they also have some decent snacks. The jumbo pretzel is good for about 3 people. It was just enough for a taste for 4 people.

Do watch out for crows though as they sometimes fly through the bar and table area.
