Finally made it, saw this place on Food Network and I to try It for myself. The food is delicious, the chicken is cooked perfectly and the ribs are tender pull off the bone goodness with that delicious mustard based sauce. I should’ve purchased more banana pudding because I didn’t have any left by the time I made it home.
Full disclosure - I grew up eating Sweatman's, so any chance I get to grab me some, I do NOT miss it! Best BBQ I have ever had. Even when has changed hands over the last 50 years, the recipe and process stays the same.Also, full disclosure - this is a Lowcountry BBQ spot, so it's mustard based. If you are not a "mustard person," not review in the world can change your mind.As for me and my family, it's mustard, everytime! And NO ONE does it better than Sweatman's.

Been a while since we been here but, did yal change the way you cook the BBQ. It had the best flavor of any BBQ I've had but this time it just seemed like the same BBQ I can get from any restaurant. All the ladies were super nice and fast service. Just not sure I'm gonna make an hour drive to eat here.
