“I just moved to Charlotte, and this is great sushi. I can be quite picky, I used to work for a sushi restaurant whose owner was a third generation sushi chef from Ōsaka. “I don’t have any photos or videos, but this was SOOO good. We were here at Saturday around lunch and the place was pretty quiet, but the service was impeccable! They made a mocktail for our oldest with fresh berries and with perfect amount of sugar (not too much, so you feel real taste of berries and freshness). Adult cocktails were also very elegant and so well made, with a nice touches. And the food is worth the while separate review. We got few items from the kids menu - no crumbs left, and all the rolls for adults were just perfect balance of every taste. We had a few of the special rolls along with few items of classical. Not too spicy (the wasabi can easily add up for you if it’s needed), not too sweet or salty. No regrets about any of the choice - bagel towne, kiss, tux, gunsnroses. We loved the interior, the dishware and cutlery, and would be glad to come back here for birthday or maybe one of their special nights. So worth a visit!

Only thing is kind of different is that you order with machines but the food seem to come out pretty quickly and the portions were the perfect size.“

“I had the pleasure of trying their fall season roll and it was delicious. Tempura with a spicy sauce you don't even need soy sauce with it fresh ingredients and explosive flavor 10/10 roll. I also had the chicken hibachi which was your standard express hibachi dish, it was good but nothing that stood out to me. “great place to pick up (relatively) healthy rice dishes. Lettuce wraps are great (order extra lettuce - they give you alot of the stuff). I like the teriyaki chicken, honey chicken, and orange chicken kids meals (the full size are really full size - too much for me to eat but if you want a big bowl, go for the adult portion). Only disappointment are the desserts - the donuts do not interest me and the brownie was a throw away - it tastes like chalk.

Hey Pei Wei, a small apple pie type dessert would be a nice option (maybe w/ I small scoop of vanilla) - or some other small sweet - but get rid of those stale-tasting brownies or switch vendors (brownies should be gooey & chocolatey)“

“Outdated, but I think they think that “look” is “in” ya know with the old menus above and bad lighting. My husband says the look hasn’t changed & it’s looked that way since he was a kid .. mind you he’s almost 28 so if that tells you anything. I’ve gotten the sesame chicken more than once & each time it looks different but it has gotten tastier just wish they could avoid the gummy pieces of chicken I typically get near the bottom. The rice portion could be a bit bigger but I’m watching my rice intake so it’s ok considering the circumstance.
