Wow, my only regret is that I haven’t visited sooner.

This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants. My daughter found it by Google and we went once and returned a few times. The food is great and the interior is so nice. Very accommodating with a stroller and the service is exceptional. Added to my favorites!

Good food and the prices are reasonable. Love their french fries. Smash burgers are great as well as the tuna appetizer.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try after it was recommended by a friend, and overall we had a great experience. Bar seats were pretty hard to come by, but the live music created a fun, welcoming vibe while we waited. The staff was very friendly, even though the bartenders were clearly very busy.

During part of our visit, there was a couple seated next to us who were unfortunately a bit of a buzzkill. They were quite rude to both the staff and the manager, and at one point I literally grabbed my husband’s arm because listening to the interaction was making me so uncomfortable. That said, we gained a lot of respect for the manager and staff for how calmly they managed a KAREN AND KEN, some people can be SO RUDE!

Once that couple left, we were able to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. We ended the night with crème brûlée, which was delicious, and the bartenders even made me a fun drink topped with whipped cream and a candy cane—such a nice touch!

Bar seating can be tough to snag, so next time we’ll plan to arrive earlier or make a reservation for a table. The bar does seem to attract an older crowd and a lot of regulars, based on how familiar everyone was with the staff. The live music was a nice addition, and I really loved the aesthetic of the heated patio.

We’ll definitely be back.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after this experience I feel morally obligated to warn others. The biggest issue wasn’t the food—it was the manager, Nick. Instead of addressing concerns, he was dismissive, condescending, and acted like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. The manager had the rare talent of making a bad situation worse. No accountability, no apology, just attitude. Honestly, we should have left the moment we interacted with Nick, but we gave it a chance. That was a mistake. A bad meal can happen anywhere. A bad manager is a choice. I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly suggest others spend their money somewhere it’s actually appreciated.

What good is it, for a restaurant to have great food, if the staff is too rude for customers to stick around to eat the food ??? We Ubered to our reservation @ The Bistro on Friday, at 6:15 pm. We started off with mixed drinks and an appetizer, then ordered our main entree, which was a large steak with an extra side, that we split. Before we were able to finish eating our main course, we assume “the manager/owner” (who was a lady with gray hair and olive skin), came to our table uninvited and unwelcomed. She lifted my plate up off the table, and threw a to go plate in its place. She caught me off guard, and it wasn’t until I began to empty my plate into the to go box, did I realize, how terribly rude this lady’s gesture was??! We were siting in the open section of the floor beside the bar, at a table with only 2 chairs. The entire restaurant saw what she did, and it was embarrassing. There were other tables available for people walking into be seated. Why did this person choose to single me
out and be so damn rude? We mentioned the episode to our waitress, hoping for an answer, however, the waitress was not helpful, and who also was rushing us, but why? Even after the unpleasant mishap, we continued to order drinks and even desert….However, their customer service got even worse as more time passed. We felt so incredibly “UNWELCOMED”, that “WE” offered to go sit at the bar if the waitress would find us 2 seats, but she did not. At this point, we had dropped $140 on our tab, and I was still hungry??! I felt so mad about the lady taking my food when I was trying to eat, that I left the “to go” box on the table, as I DIDN’T PAY AN UBER TO COME EAT TAKE OUT IN A BOX! Needless to say,our evening was ruined by the atmosphere and the disrespectful treatment endured by the staff @ The Bistro. Next, we promptly exited the restaurant and sat in their outdoor seating with heated tabletops, where we waited for our “scheduled uber” over 30+ mins to pick us up. Would have even nice to have been offered a drink while we waited, or even a glass of water! We were ignored like a red headed step child??? Don’t patron this establishment unless you like being treated “differently” for no reason. We observed the rest of the evening, and NO ONE else had their food taken off their tables and thrown a to go box. This was so out of place and so unnecessary, but that’s neither here nor there, seeing that this establishment will NEVER see us back there- EVER! The owner seems to have control issues and wants to control how long a patron can keep an appetizer or main meal on their table to consume? Really? The owner needs to control their outdated bathroom facilities- I had to hold the toilet handle down 15 secs to make it flush-gross 🤢Spend some $ and get touch-less bathroom facilities like the rest of the world- disgusting!

Last night for the first time in my adult life, I sat alone at the restaurant bar at The Bistro. It was cold, wet and rainy outside and I almost stayed home. I ordered Brussels sprouts for dinner and unsweetened tea. I shopped online while I listened to the amazing artist singing live music. From Stapleton to Prince. He even threw in a little Justin Beiber Christmas music. After the show the singer sat with his mama and had dinner. Those last 45 minutes of the night are so precious to me. I am so glad I did not stay home. Thank you to Katie at The Bistro in Irmo. She was a lovely hostess! Thanks to Trey Duncan Sings for a wonderful show and the time I got to spend with him after. I am infinitely humbled to be the mother of four precious children. “Family isn’t an important thing. Family is everything.”-Michael J Fox Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me !

The schnitzel was very dry and tough and over cooked. The cold slaw, side, was only a tablespoon of slaw.
This was our 33 year wedding anniversary. Will go back to hotel and eat some of their snacks.

We chose The Bistro to celebrate our elopement with loved ones, and it was the perfect decision. The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming, the service attentive and kind, and the food absolutely delicious. Every detail, from the pacing of the meal to the thoughtful care we received, made the afternoon truly unforgettable. Thank you for helping us end our special day on such a beautiful note.

I've had worse meals, but I can't remember when. Rib eye steak was thin and tough. Paid an upcharge to change out a side and 2 out of 5 or 6 fingerling potatoes were under done. We won't be going back.

Atmosphere is the only real positive here. Small menu and food quality is not on par with their prices. Drinks are outrageously priced as well. Service is OK.

We love our server but something was different…. Food took a long time to come out…..the music was good, but loud. Missed seeing the regulars….Looks like new management ? Not sure it’s going to work for us. Not sure we will be back!
