Social Grill has altered their menu substantially over the years, to the point that now it is mainly "bar food" (salads, sandwiches, and fried items), albeit a large selection of offerings. Still, the word "Grill" in the name of the place seems tenuous, at best, given the deficiency of grilled items (they used to have a range of food including grilled steaks, chops, fish, etc.). The atmosphere is definitely "bar," as even the tables out front smell of cigarettes. We weren't particularly interested in the types of food offered, but ended up trying the establishment again when our planned destination nearby was unexpectedly closed. We were however, able to identify a couple of good menu options, and these were prepared well. Service was good, and the outdoor patio had a nice beachy vibe (although it would be nice if they rolled up the plastic to let a little air in/out). If you are looking mainly for a bar, this is a fine establishment with an extensive bar-food menu.

Great Place... the restaurant was a little busy, but not too busy that could not take time to quickly greet and seat us. The front dining area has a bar, but it wasn't loud or crazy. Our waitress, Sarah, was the best. Service was absolutely wonderful. I had the macaroni and cheese with blackened chicken. This is no boxes Kraft. It was great. Cooked to order in a little cast iron skillet. My husband had the burger and Carolina slaw. Burger was cooked perfectly and thick. The Carolina slaw is unique. I am not a fan of Cole slaw, but this slaw was so flavorful I wish I had a side of it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Enjoyed catching a late lunch and a few drinks. The place was very inviting and relaxed. Food was good along with the service.

Ordered online delivery, quick service and very good food. Upset we didn’t receive the dry rub we ordered on the wings and extra fries, but we were refunded for the entire meal without even asking. Thanks for the food and good management to the customer.

Went into watch a band. We were promptly showed to our table by the person at the host stand. Our server was quick to stop by to get drink orders, and very attentive throughout the evening as we watch the band. The food came out promptly and as ordered and our drink glasses were always filled. Great little venue to watch a band or to stop by for a quick bite. Parking can be tricky on a busy night, but other than that no complaints
