I can't understand why I tried this place again after being disappointed the last visit. Bland food, chicken was hard as bricks, rice not tasty! I won't be going back! Best place, China House was closed. Tried sun ming and was disappointed!

The server was awesome and very helpful. The dishes ordered were all on the mark except for one. I don't blame the restaurant, we ordered something that was too outside of the norm for us.

I guess I came on an off day? All of the food we got was very bland and tasteless. The egg rolls were ok, but very dry. Sesame chicken was tough and chewy, the sauce was the only redeeming part. The egg fried rice needed salt, really everything did. Tried egg drop and wonton soups, both very disappointing. The egg drop soup was so pale and tasted like goopy water. The wontons in the wonton soup, there were only 2, and had barely any meat in them. I do not understand how this place has stayed in business as long as it has. Even the fortune cookies we had were stale. Will not be coming back. China King in Irmo is 1000% better.

Was in Columbia SC area & my Thai wife wanted Chinese for lunch, so here we are. I asked my brother who lives here where to go for good Chinese & he recommended Sun Ming.
We both enjoyed the egg rolls ,pirk ribs appetizers then chomped down on Singapore rice noodles, Twice cook pork with the cabbage, & filet beef with black pepper sauce. I'll be back for the egg rolls, Singapore noodles & Twice cooked pork.

I usually order Mu Shu Pork. This is the only place anywhere around that has it. It’s my absolute favorite dish and SunMing makes it to perfection Slightly spicy and delicious

I picked up an order that should have included rice, I get home and it was not included, I didn't feel like going back so I cooked my own, while it was cooking I called Sunming to let them know about the error, I was polite, instead of acknowledging that you made a mistake you told me that it was not possible!!...I realize that it was partially my fault for not checking the bag that you stapled shut before handing it to me, but it was poor customer service when you chose to basically call me a liar rather than admit you made a mistake.
