⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Try in Isle of Palms! If you’re looking for the best restaurant in Isle of Palms, this is it! Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious—each dish tastes like it was made with care and love. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and what really stood out was the owner personally checking on every table, even during a busy rush. That kind of attention to detail and hospitality is rare. This place is a must-try—did I mention everything is homemade? Because it truly makes all the difference. Can’t wait to go back!

We came for breakfast and then a few days later for dinner. Both experiences were excellent!! The food was amazing as was the service. The biscuits and gravy at breakfast had the perfect amount of spice. And for dinner, the pecan fried chicken, scallops, and shrimp just melted in your mouth. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are on the Isle of Palms, come the Acme Lowcountry Kitchen for at least one meal. You will not be disappointed!

This is what we come to Mount Pleasant for - it's always a highlight of our visit, and we usually visit multiple times during our stay. This time was different and didn't leave a good impression. I think this 1 visit is the last one for a very long time.

Is there new management or a new chef? Calimari wasn't the same - had a bit of a strong taste and the usually thin fried lemon slices are a really big plus that puts this dish over the top. This time the lemon slices were thick and not fried crispy. Really couldn't eat them.

We ordered protein for the children's pasta for $3 extra, and the tiny sliver of chicken that came in a separate dish was about the size of my little finger. It was embarrassing to think that sliver was even charged as extra.

I order the entree of grilled scallops and chose the extra charge for pimento cheese grits. Unfortunately they were delivered without the pimento grits, and I alerted the lady when she placed them in front of me. She went and informed our server who came and offered to bring out a separate bowl of pimento cheese grits. But the entree scallops had already been plated on top of the white grits (which I didn't want and didn't order). No, I don't want a separate bowl - I want the entire entree plated correctly like I ordered. Yes, they removed my entree, took it back to the kitchen and when it came back out it did have the correct pimento cheese grits - but it was only half the amount of white grits that were there originally delivered. The light sauce that was there over the scallops originally was now gone and the scallops were now luke warm.

They obviously took my plate and just used all the same ingredients instead of remaking and replating.

May sound picky - but this is a top notch place and things like that just don't happen here...at least not that I've ever seen. They just weren't excellent as usual.

Just all around - not a very nice meal. We were planning a couple more visits during our stay in Wild Dunes, but I think our plans are now to visit some of the other excellent restaurants around the area.

I sure hope these problems are corrected because this is one of our favorite restaurants ever.

Amazing food and even better service. We were seated in the bar area and the bartender took excellent care of us. Food is pricey but worth it! Just go!
Sidenote: small charge for using credit card; I think ours was $3.25 on a $90 bill.

Acme Lowcountry is a must go in the Charleston/Isle of Palms area. The laid back atmosphere is a perfect fit for the area, and that’s just the beginning. The low country style food is mouth watering, with an incredible selection of seafood and southern comfort foods with an upscale touch but a laid back feel. The service is also outstanding. Our server, Travis, was the icing on the cake to make our already great experience even better. There is also a great beer and drink selection.

If you are a minority, do NOT come here. Manger is beyond racist, all the servers stare at you before you come in to “ make sure” you’re coming inside.

So kind of them to give back to teachers and kids today. David gave us great service and our food was delicious! We will be back many times when we are at the beach soon!
