- Staff was unattentive - Our food was poor quality - Waitress would rather sit at bar and chat with other waitresses or bar tender than check up on us or take our card to pay. Mind you we were 2 of maybe 8 people in the place. - Went up to cash register myself and when the lady questioned the waitress as to why I was bringing the bill she laughed and said she thought she already brought it up. Possibly stoned who knows. - Place smelled like sweat and sadness. - Table was sticky On a side note, my wife and I had visited this place a few years prior and loved it. Either we are remembering through rose tinted glasses or the place has given up.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the views of the ocean are great. You have a choice to dine inside or on the 1st or 2nd deck outside. The food isn't anything fancy but it's good and the staff is extremely friendly.

I am a local and frequently eat lunch at Banana Cabana. My husband and I have been more than satisfied every time we come. From fresh fish to yummy burgers to delicious Mexican food, we are always pleased with our dishes. In addition, the service is great, always being greeted and helped with a friendly smile. My husband asked our waiter his name today(I always forget to ask). Rick was awesome recommending the delicious fresh Mahi Mahi, rice ,and beans. YUMMY!! Thanks, Rick!!

Great service and great food. We ordered a bloom onion, chicken tenders, burgers and the crab soup. Everything was delicious and food came out extremely quickly. A great place to stop and refuel at the beach.
