Chef Roland came to our rental on Isle of Palms and cooked a beautiful and delicious dinner for 5. He worked around several allergies and strong dislikes, he made the experience was a lot of fun, and the food was delicious. Chef Roland was easy to communicate with before the event, and he was kind and friendly throughout. Would highly recommend!

I contracted in July 2022 Indigenius Cuisine to send a chef to our rental home for my husbands 50th bday with 6 couples for October 6. We had all traveled for the occasion from all different states and this was going to be the highlight of the week. They were to get to the home at 6pm. I had menu cards made and tablescaped the table to enhance the occasion (see photo). The day of the event we had masseuses come to our home to do couples massages and a photographer I hired was also present. At 3 pm Indigenius called my cell and said their chef had a car accident and couldn't make it. They cancelled it like it was a nail appointment. No big deal. I was dumbfounded. I understand accidents happen but to have no backup plan and to treat so casually was so unprofessional. I obviously couldn't get dinner reservations for 12 of us at this time so I was in a bind. The owner was "out of the country" so whoever called me just said nothing they could do. All their other chefs were busy (it was a Thursday night). She stated they were out not only the business of our booking but also The food. I then asked if I could at least get the food and pay for that so we had something to cook and she said that wasn't possible. Not sure why since they told me they were going to have to absorb the cost of the food and I was willing to purchase it. Makes me think they never even purchased it in the first place but I don't know. I don't know how much of the story is even true tbh as I still have a hard time understanding how you cancel an event planned for 4 months and paid for in full with 3 hours notice. I selected them due to their awesome reviews here, but obviously my experience was much different than others. Just beware...they have no backup plan if a chef gets sick and have no remorse cancelling with no notice. They didn't even have the courtesy to purchase a bottle of wine or champagne to send over as an apology or purchase our groceries which I asked them to. So at 430 on my husbands bday I went grocery shopping and threw together a meal. I'm All for building up small businesses. Take a look at my other reviews on here. I have given one bad review and lots of 5 stars so if I give a bad review it's def earned.

We had Indigenius Cuisine come to our IOP rental to make dinner for our group of 8. The food was delicious and our chef Brett and server Beth did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Everyone was raving about the food. It is not inexpensive, but it was a special experience and was worth it.

This is my one and only "go to" caterer. I have been using Indigenous for the last 10 years and they never disappoint. My last party (a surprise party for my husband) was just as good. I even had someone from Louisiana tell me the crab cakes were the best they ever had - now that's saying a lot! Since I have never left a review for them, I do need to mention the party before last because Arlette (owner) went over and above. It was a 60th wedding anniversary party for around 100 guest for my in-laws. They have traveled the world as they were US Air Force. Arlette, came up with dishes that brought to mind every place they were ever stationed. People were talking about the food for months after. They are on the pricier side but in my personal opinion - worth every penny! It would never cross my mind to use anyone else.

Great catering company, we got a private dinner for 8 and got the steam pot and a side of their Fried Chicken, the Steam Pot was solid but the Fired Chicked was the best I have ever had and I grew up in the Deap South. The Chef was great and we had a good time. Not cheap but totally fair on the price.

I hired Indigenius Cuisine for an at-home dinner party of 6. Their admin staff were very responsive and professional in setting up and managing the event. Our chef for the evening, Raymond, made us a delicious meal, was personable, and professional. I'd use them again.

The food was far from tasty and the company as a whole quickly dismissed an issue we had. Save yourselves the trouble and go out to eat at one of the wonderful restaurants in the city!

Avoid. They sent a substitute chef who did not meet expectations with the food. The price we paid was not worth the quality. In addition, we had an issue with the kitchen cooktop - which was quickly dismissed as something we did after too much wine. (of course we had wine - it was a girls trip!!) All we know is that it was fine before the chef came, and now we aren't getting our deposit back.
